I had not been here in a while. It's good to be back and see familiar faces still around. I was looking at my profile and can't believe I joined 3FC almost 5 years ago. Time sure flies!
Life has been challenging for me lately. I lost my mom unexpectedly last Sept which caused me a lot of emotional pain. Last month I had surgery and due to complications I'm still trying to recover from it.
It seems I stopped thinking about food and my focus went to other things. I have managed to maintain a 30 lb loss for a year and a half. Right now I'm actually 50 lbs lower than my highest, but a lot has to do with the surgery and the complications.
I just feel like I'm not really a maintainer because I'm thinking I haven't tried hard enough. It feels like it just sort of happened.
Has this happened to any of you?
