Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know I have survived the plastic surgeries (tummy tuck, arms, chin) and am recovering in Cancun. I had the surgeries 9 days ago and am so far behind on this thread that I'm pretty sure I will never catch up. So I'm going to start fresh now. There's a link under my signature for my Cancun photo album. It has before and post surgery pics. The Gulf is so beautiful that some of you stuck in snowy messes might enjoy a glimpse of the unbelieveable blue water. DH and I return to the US on Monday.

Still no snow here in the Olympic host city....but i am impressed what they managed to pull off on that grassy knoll.
I just went for a long walk - cherry blossoms, crocuses, and other bulbs blooming like mad.
Seems like we pretty much bypassed winter and went straight to spring.
I am going downtown to hit some of the venues this w/e and join the party
Shannon and Michele, thanks for the thoughts. I’m doing quite well.
Sznn, there’s no Olympic coverage in Mexico so I haven’t seen your circus. I’m glad that you’re going to enjoy some of the venues since your city has put up with all the preps and the bills that come from it. Might as well enjoy it.
DH has gone cave diving today so I’m on my own. I have a dr. appt and have hopes the rest of the stitches will be removed. One of the coolest part of recovering in Cancun is the abundance of fruit. I am so having a fiesta with the fruit.
Could someone from the UK side of things enlighten me as to how much a "stone" of weight is in lbs.? I know a kilo is 2.2 lbs, but I haven't got a clue about the other.
14 lbs = 1 stone. Plural is 'stone' and you don't say 'pounds' for the units afterwards.
For example, I am 11 stone 1, as of this morning. A 5lb goal reached! On now to reach the next 5lb goal of 10 stone 10. (Trans: am 155 lbs, aiming for 150 lbs.)
