Hey all! I was wondering if anyone else here was at the Dr. Oz show taping last week for his 100th show? They invited 100 people who lost 100 pounds to be in the audience and I was there. It was a blast! The show airs on Tuesday the 16th.
Lori, that's so cool! I hadn't heard about it, so thanks so much for bringing it to our attention! I just loved your blog about it and reading it was the next best thing to being there. You're such a wonderful inspiration and you know what, Richard Simmons is right that every day, none of us know who we might inspire. I have a feeling that you're going to be inspiring a lot of people on Tuesday!
I'm so glad you had the experience and can't wait to watch the show.
And by the way, you look absolutely gorgeous in the photos!

Lori, you're not a dork, you earned the right to enjoy every second of that adventure. I'm seriously sitting here with tears in my eyes because I'm so proud of you, and of all of the maintainers. You did it, you worked hard and made your dream come true and I couldn't be prouder and happier for you.
I love the threads I find in "new posts"! Man that was a great read on your blog! And when I read the comment from Richard Simmons, I thought he could be saying that to me when I reach goal! It puts it into perspective that 100 lbs is ALOT to carry around and then to lose.
I just started taping this show a couple weeks ago, so I'll definitely be watching! I love shows like that. I find them inspirational as well as motivational.
That is so cool! I love Dr. Oz. You must be so proud of your accomplishments! What an incredible time you must have had, to be surrounded by all those other winning losers!
Omigod!! what an achievement and amazing way to celebrate how great you've done!!! Pat yourself on the back..you deserve to be so proud!
Have any of you ever went to www.realage.com ? Dr Oz's website that is amazing! You fill out a HUGE questionaire based on health/family history, habits etc and it tells you your realage! You can also update your questionaire as you change your lifestyle which of course will give you a new 'realage'. The site will also email you articles based on health issues that interest you (for example I have allergies and I always get info sent to me) and give you suggestions of things you can do to lower your 'real age'.

That is so exciting Lori!!! I loved reading about your experience on your blog. You will always have wonderful memories. I will have to find the show to watch it!!
So cool! I've never watched Dr. Oz, except for when he was on Oprah...then I quit watching Oprah...(and all daytime TV) so I didn't even realize he had his own show. Neat. I'll have to check out your blog when I have some time. Congrats!
