Have you thought about doing something to give people a sense that you are a built in part of the community? For example, I know of this bakery in Mississippi called "the Bottle Tree Bakery & Cafe" because bottle trees are a Southern folklore kind of thing. We have a dessert place called "Chocolate Cafe and Bakery" near my house and I have no desire to go there. It just seems so heartless and matter-of-fact. It kills me because they are 2 minutes from Chocolate Bayou Rd and they could have done something cute with it to make it seem like a real hometown kind of place. I think folks who want a cozy dessert place would love the feeling that they are not in a big franchise type place. That's just my 2 cents. Besides, punny names remind me of hair salons
