Nah, I am right about everything...if I could only get DH to believe it.

Yeah, and I am not buying 1TBSP of pb =1/2 protein on red. They may have told you to do it, but it's idiotic. That can affect your calories by a LOT if you are a big pb lover.

This fuzzy math is giving me a headache!

Purple Plan (No lites)
One of my favorite days:

4 oz Dannon Yogurt (1/2 D)
12 Strawberries, 1 c Raspberries or sm Peach (F) (This depends on the flavor of yogurt, as I put them in the yogurt)

Mid AM: Sm. Peach, Berries or 1/2 Pear (F)

Lunch: Chicken Breast (P) or Lean Cusine Lean Pocket Ultra (P,S)
1 C lettuce (V)
1 Stalk Celery (V)
1 1/2 TBSP Fat Free 1000 Dressing (1 1/2 C)

Mid PM: Fruit of some sort (F) & 1/2 C Jello (C)

Dinner: 2 Bocca Burgers on 1/2 Hoagy Roll (P,S) with 1 Tsp Mustard
1 C Broccoli (2V) (Or some other veggie)
1 tsp Butter (Fa)

Evening Snack: Fruit (F) & 1 String Cheeze (Mozzarella Lite) (1/2 D)

I also like to do Egg Salad/Tuna at lunch with 2 eggs (the other used at breakfast) and I LOVE the Broccoli Beef Recepie from the LA Cookbook.

Of course when I do the Egg Salad or tuna I use 1 tbsp Lite Mayo as my fat.

Default Ohhhh the LAWL math

Yes, my COD told me 1 TBS of PB was half a protien. Same as 1 egg is half a protien... it's somehow easier for the trolls to do the math if you don't have halfs. So.... I measure a "scoop" of PB and call it 1/2P. I think if one were weighing and measuring accurately, the 1.5 TBS would be a half protien...

I don't really get the whole crossover thing - 2oz cheese is a dairy, but 4 oz is a protien....

Same with soy milk - 1 C is a dairy, but 2 C is a protien....

I also looked at labels and my FF milk has more protien than my 8th Continent soy milk... 10 more calories, and a little less [edited to read less sodium instead of more] sodium. What is better about soy protien than milk protien? Why can't I count 2 C of FF milk as a protien? I would love to sit down with a large glass of ice cold milk with my dinner one night!

Default Off Topic - I am She

I got started, a few years ago, getting recipes from the Arcamax chef (it's an online subscription thing). Anyway, at the end of each recipe newsletter, he has a blurb "From the Arcamax chef" about different things going on in his life. He calls his wife She Who Must Be Obeyed, or She for short. I joked with DH about this, and now.... I am She. It comes in handy, ALOT! I even got a bag tag from my son's hockey team that has my name "She" on it.

A typical response around my house is like this "Of course I'm right, honey, I am She." That usually ends all discussion!

I think mine is dated 2005-I'm not sure what you mean about limited starches and proteins . . . . I can only have 6 eggs/week . . . .and they tell me not to eat minibagels every day-I still do of course

This is the closest center and I find it a pain to get to as it is . . . .I'm not too worried about it. I can count cheese as a protein if I want to and just not record it as such. Unless I'm in the mood to argue with them . . . . I don't know whether I'll buy any more weight loss weeks either, we'll see . . .

Could someone tell me the differnce between red and red+, i'm on red and am wishing for more veggies, less starch and protein. I do the lites, and did this same program 12 years ago under the name quick weight loss, i was very successful with the bars included, but seem to be off to a slower start. I exercise way mor than I did then, and of course i have passed the big 4-0. I usually get my starch as 2 oatmeals in a day, and bag the 3rd one. I've only been at it 2 weeks and lost 8, I know I shouldn't gripe, but it has been a SLLLLOOOOW week, only 1/2#.
