Default What's your first....

Another fun poll....

Do you have a "skinny" outfit you know is the first thing you're gonna wear when you lose the weight? If so what is it? That little black dress in the back of your closet? Maybe a bikini? Can't wait to hear what your choice is then I will tell you mine.

Beanie - this is such a good question - I fell asleep thinking about it - I still don't have a first thing to wear - just an entire wardrobe!!!

I have a pair of black dress pants that I wore in high school that I really want to fit back in. But I really can't wait to be able to wear shorts and a tank top in the summer and feel like I look good in it.

I have a size 10 pair of low-rise jeans hanging at the front of my closet. Right now they come up to my thighs!!

I'll get there!

Andi - LOL - I have several pairs of jeans that fit JUST like that. . . I also have a black column dress (very tough for us pear shaped chicks) with a slit .. . I would love to be able to wear that - It did fit for a brief, shining moment, and I didn't have courage to wear it. .

I want to wear a camisole under an open cardigan, and low rise jeans in a size 12. I haven't been a size 12 since elementary school!

Julie - I have a size 16 pair of jeans on right now that are low - not too much, but I still have to hang on to them when I sit down if my shirt isn't long enough (I don't like spillage so I don't usually wear shorty shirts! ) The ole bottom tends to fill everything out but leaves plenty of room in the waist!

Shennie - lingerie!! Yes, I plan on visiting Victoria's Secret for some really cute pj's by Christmas. I am the queen of pajamas. I am truly the best dressed woman going to bed. I have tons of Karen Nueberger - thanks to Oprah!! DH even bought me a pair of KN from Oprah's boutique with the Oprah signature on it for Valentine's Day - love those pajamas. But, I need something a little less "mom-ish" and a little more "tongue-hanging-on-the-floor"

Great outfits everyone....

Lingerie - yeah it would be nice to go in to VS and not have the sales lady say we don't have your size here I think you need Lane Bryant....but no thats not mine

Little Black dress - well I would want a red one.....kind of like Lisa from BL1....but that still not what i want to wear....

You guys have to remember I live in Idaho.....Well my husband and I love the rodeo...so I have always wanted to fit in a nice size wranglers, and be able to tuck (YES I SAID TUCK- something I have never done) my nice western shirt in put my ropers (boots) on and go to the Rodeo in Twin and also my husband is gonna get us tickets to the NFR! So there you have it, you all know what a geek I really am!! But I have always wanted to do this - the county fair is a big thing in my town everybody comes back in the summer and goes and smoozes. Well next year Im gonna be the biggest SMOOZER (lol) there!!!

Here's to everyone fitting in to that "outfit" real soon!

I have to fit into some gawd-awful bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding in September. And yes, it will be gawd-awful ... she's already ruled out anything re-usable. But that's not what motivates me ... I'd like to be able to fit into the high-school clothes. Not because I had such cute stuff, but just the principle of it.

I'd really like to appreciate my legs enough to wear skirts.

What a great poll idea Beanie! Guess what, wranglers were one of my thoughts too. I started dating DH when I was a sophmore in high school, and I was dang hot in my size 3 wranglers. I had a red pair that were my fave. I don't even own a pair of ropers anymore, but I guess I could wear them with tennies. I can't wait to suprise DH on a date in my "Hot Pants"!!

Okay-- so the wranglers must be an Idaho thing because that was one of my first thoughts!!!! I do have a pair of ropers from high school, I was sooooooo proud of those. I wore a size 7 in high school and would be happy to fit back in to a size 9 wranglers or silver lakes. Good luck to all!!!

This is a fun question. The first thing that comes to mind is a pair of Guess jeans that I bought in Grade 11/12. Those jeans cost be an arm and a leg - they are button fly, pretty lose rise and fitted. I think they are a size 8/10.
