Hey guys!

I really want to do the TO with you MOnday and Tuesday, but I don't know yet. I don't know where I am sleeping tonight, whether I will be braving it alone at my house or go to my mom's.

I was up 4.5 pounds this weekend! UGH! I went out to dinner Friday and Saturday with DH and overdid it. I have been a wreck emotionally and tried to heal with food. BAD idea. I am back OP today, almost done my water already and enjoyed my fruits in a smoothie!

I need to start packing to move as we're getting a truck in 2 weeks! Ah!! I am not good with change, so I am going to strive to not let this ruin my diet and the progress that I have made so far!!!

I was back on plan today! I walked on the treadmill for 2 miles and then I went for a 4.5 mile walk with my BF by the lake!

Started Takeoff this morning and I am doing great so far, that is not a real accomplishment since it is only 9:30 but I will take what I can get. I did not over eat this weekend, I was the opposite in that I did not get all my food or water in and only half exercised yesterday, but on Friday we did walk 3.2 miles and most of it was up hill so I hope that can even some things out. I did do yard work and chased the baby a lot yesterday so I hope that helps as well. I mentioned in a previous post that LAWL was starting a new plan. I am not sure what it is all about, but they said it was new and different and not like any plan before. Also they have guest speakers every night this week as well as exercise demonstrations and 2 walks scheduled. I think it seems like they are really changing things. it seems like the new plan will really incorporated exercise, the new zumba craze? Anyway I will share the details later. I did join the red team, my mom is on the black team, anyway which ever team looses the most gets some free LAWL products. So I will let you know updates as I check in.

Heather- way to get your exercise in. Great job and keep it up.

Amy- you have been through a lot and it is easy and habit to turn to food for comfort(iknow I do the same). Hopefully, these changes will be good for you and trust me you will get some good exercise packing and moving boxes.

Cecil- let me know how it is going and if you did the miracle juice.

Kennedy- let me know how it going on Takeoff and if you think the slim down shake is the same as the drink you are using.

Just checking in! I didn't end up doing TO today, I have 2 major papers to write by Wednesday, so I am a little stressed!

Good news is that I slept at my house BY MYSELF last night, so I am back on ruitine!!!

Amy, good I am glad it is getting back to normal, and you have a plan! That must feel good!

TO today. So far so good. I had a couple eggs and some of that Hollywood juice so far today. I am using bar with my TO too. So I think I will have one mid morning. I already want one! HA!

How is it going for everyone else?

I am hoping for at least a 3 lb loss after TO. I am supposed to be on the express plan though Sunday. But I think I am going to drink this weekend I have a friend in town and I really want to have some wine with her. So? I guess I will just see how it goes.

I just had my first break I had some more juice and a Bar. So far so good! I want to know how you ladies are doing?? Where are you???

I am surviving well. Better than usual however the tough part for me will be this time tomorrow. I have eaten my protein, had 3 servings of takeoff and some green veggies. As we speak I just finished my 64 oz of water and I am going to drink more to stay full. I already cooked my chicken for dinner, so when I get home I just plan for tomorrows takeoff and should be ready to go. I would love a 3 pound loss this week to even out last weeks one pound loss, however as always any loss is great for me.

I was thinking last night that I have not weighed regularly ever. I usually just diet for awhile. Then go back to my horrible eating habits. This is the longest I have stuck to a plan in awhile. But Also this is the least amount I have ever lost on a diet. However it is the most I have ever weighed and I am older. I am still not going to be discouraged.:cp:

Cecil I hope your Takeoff is going great and we get the results we deserve...:cheer3::cheer2:

Good job ladies for starting the take off. I will be starting tomorrow on Tuesday, I went to walmart and bought the 48 hour hollywod juice, I hope I bought the right stuff? I am going to do the TO and then go right into the regular plan, I decided not to do the express since I am going to be in vegas for vacation and the plan is going to be hard enough for me to follow, the express I will do once I am back and then hopefully the TO gets a boost going since overall I am up in weight!! I am hoping to average a loss of about 10 pounds per month. Which I think is doable. I hope at least. I give up easily and am really looking forward to the TO once I see and can notice a loss I will stay with it. It's just getting to that point!! :)

Good luck to everyone, lets keep each other informed. I was going to buy a rotissere chicken ( I think this is ok to eat) and have that with veggies and then turkey burgers or somthing. More of the less fatty meats if possible. Is this a good idea for better results, anyone know??

Thanks for all the input, My computer was down all wknd otherwise I would have checked in sooner. Sorry. I will check in tomorrow morning, My son has baseball then I have to work late tonite.

Congrats on making it through your first day of TO! I have a hard time at night on day 2 because I am ready to eat real food by then.

This morning I was down one pound from yesterday and 2 pounds from my starting weight! I started this week using the rest of the bars that I have, but I am trying to decided whether to use them this weekend. I am chaperoning the 8th grade DC this weekend, so eating could be a challenge. If I go without the lites, I have a little more flexibility because I can eat more "real" food. On the other hand, the bars are easy to carry with me if I need a snack on the trip. I know either way, that I am going to try my best to stay on plan.

Good Tuesday Morning to you all!!!:wave:

2nd day of Takeoff and I am doing great. However just as mentioned before this afternoon and night will be my hardest part. I will be constantly thinking of fruit and other foods that are not part of Takeoff. Isn't it funny how for 2 days eating a carrot is cheating??? Anyway I can handle it. I hope everyone else is doing well. I am ready to see some major loss girls!!!!:goodluck:

Heather5- good luck on your trip. I know traveling is always hard for me. I might at least take a bar or 2 just for convenience. You might be so busy that is all you can eat. :cbg:

Hey Ladies!! I worked later than normal last night and did not want to get my butt out of bed this morning. I had no time to prep, I am really down on myself today. But no go for the TO today. Def tomorrow tho. I am not working late tonight so I will have some time to get it all ready and prepared. I am SOOO excited though. Especially from hearing how great all of you are doing on it. I have been trying to keep my water intake up that is my hardest part. I know it should be easy, but it's not for me. But I am managing well. I'll check in later. Keep up the great work!! :)

I am tired of the food options as well. I was looking forward to breakfast until I remembered I am having a slim down shake... Anyway One more meal. I can definately handle that. I just hope the restriction shows on the scale and stays off. good idea about going to sleep early that would absolutely help.

Okay....Okay....I now I have been missing in action and I do apologize.

Soooo much going on at work, at home and at school. I was not able to start the TO neither Monday nor today. However, I have the juice and I will be doing it starting tommorow. I will weigh myself first think in the morning, post my stats and go from there. I am rooting for a 3 pound weight loss during the TO phase. After that for the next 3 days I will replace one meal with the Slim Down Equivalent Shake. I promised that I wasn't going to weigh myself until the end of the challenge but what the hay I will do it for this commaraderie TO event. Also, below I have a message for each of you. You ladies have been busy and it was quite a challege to read them all and to respond.

The juice that most of us are talking about is the 48 hour Hollywood juice that most of us are using instead of the LA Weightloss Take Off Drink which is either hard to get because there are not that many centers around or a little bit on the pricy side however it has tremendous results when you drink it and pair it with diet and excesice. Look through the different threads on the forum and you will see more information on it. There is a cool Search feature that I use all the time when I have questions about an ingridient, a food product or food ideas. The 48 hour Hollywood Juice can be found usually in Walmart by the Pharmacy section. -- Good Luck on the wonderful journey

Heather5: I just wanted to say wowweee! You are quite inspirational. I long walk to the gym, a spinning class and miles towards home – All I can say is WOW. I might have to fly you to New Jersey so you can be my walking buddy. I would love to do the Avon Breast Cancer 2 Day Walk next year which is in October. That is what I always promised I would do once I hit goal. But I would need to train for that. You are right about the Day 2 during Take Off I feel the same way about wanting to eat real food. Also, congratulations on your weight loss we will all be kicking that extra weight to the curb in no time. We should all have a clothes burning party when we get to our goal. Take one article of clothing and burn it. Those protein bars can come in real handy when you are traveling. Good Luck with your trip.

MommyofSix: Congratulations on your weight loss. Keep us posted on that new plan that LAWL will be rolling out. Good luck on your Biggest Loser Team it sounds like fun. I wish they had things like that when I was going to LAWL. If I do recall I think they had challenges where you would earn money towards buying their product and that was cool. I love the whole guest speaker idea and the organized walks I think that is great. Too bad no centers exist around me. You are right hearing these things about LAWL puts them in a different light for me. I never had a problem with them because I knew their plan worked if you followed it to a T. Yes please keep us posted and good luck to your MOM as well. Thanks for posting the Slim Down Shake information I haven’t had a chance to compare it to the information I have or the shakes I have used very recently. Once I compare them I will let you know. Wow you walked 3.2 miles and uphill that is great. I will need to fly you in as well. So you can be my trainer. Bring the kiddies too I am sure they will have fun with my son. (lol). You are right about your comment about using food for comfort cause that is exactly what I do. And moving I think I lost a good 7 pounds when I helped my mom move 3 years ago – That is what I call real exercise. Don’t get discouraged, keep posting, we will all lose together, we are in it this time for the long haul. We are seriously going to kick extra weight in the butt for good this time. P.S. I like smileys too!

KityKat: Have fun on your Vegas trip. If you see Elvis walking by tell him I said hello. I think that is why I like the Take Off phase so much because people normally tend to lose and it encourages you to continue. I too am looking forward to a 10 pound a month weight loss. ~ Let’s do it. Also, Rotisserie chicken is great however the can be salty if you buy them already prepared. If you can do it at home it is fantastic.


JerseyMadChen: As Mommyofsix mentioned moving is exercise in itself. Good Luck with the move. Hey don’t beat yourself up over the weight gain. You were enjoying yourself with Hubby and sometimes that happens. The food the company paired together makes a wonderful, relaxing and comforting evening. Continue on plan and you will do great. Do you know I haven’t made a smoothie yet – I am do terribly lazy (lol) *****************Side Bar Conversation: Jersey I am probably going to need to pick your brain on some information unrelated to weight loss. It happens to be about the HR World. So I will PM you my question. Since I work in a Career Center there are questions I need to bounce off of a HR Professional.

Cecil: Hey Cecil I am here. Took me forever to get to a computer to log in and chat. Have fun this weekend with your friend, it is so nice to see people you havn’t seen in a while. Wow I had a week of gum chewing, I think it is because of my TOM. Also, I tend to do the same when I am aggravated about the plan. I go to sleep but pray I don’t sleep walk and eat naughty things (ha, ha)
