I started with Medifast because I tend toward an all-or-nothing attitude. I know I will need to move to an eating plan that translates better to how I will eat for the rest of my life, but I needed the restrictivness of Medifast to get me to stop the binge long enough to figure out portion control. I'll admit...I am still afraid of it. Learning to stop at a certain limit on a food that I am enjoying will be my challenge in life!

I just began MediFast and chose it because it is very restricting as to what you can eat. Some plans offer you to eat a points value worth of food & that doesn't work for me, because once I get a taste of that "treat or bread" I would eat the rest of my daily point in that food group. That of course is NOT GOOD. I am hoping this is a plan that will work for me & that I can commit to fully. At this point I am so unhappy with the extra weight I am carrying that I am desperate. I need a very short leash when I diet. Best wishes to all.
