It's been a while

  • Hello Everyone!

I was on LAWL a few years ago and did really well. At that point, I went from 170 to 127 (I am 5' 5.5"). I did a good job of keeping it off until my husband and I started our business. Crazy working hours and lack of sleep led to not eating properly and I slowly got back up to 159 (yikes!). Thinking that LAWL was going to be hard to follow with my schedule, I tried just cutting back. When I struggled along for 4 months and lost less than 3 lbs, I decided I needed to get serious.

I thought about going back to LAWL and was surprised when I went to the center. The sign had changed to Pure Weightloss and the place was dark and emptied out. So I looked up LAWL online and found that there are no locations even close to here.

I got a card in the mail that a Physician's Weightloss Center had just opened near me. I went in and talked to them. The program sounded interesting, but I didn't like the fact that it would be about 2 weeks before I could actually get started.

So I pulled out all of my old LAWL stuff and refreshed myself on the plan. From reading some of the posts on here, it seems as if they changed the plans to numbered plans. I was on a colored plan. When I first started, they had given me the Gold Plan but I was so hungry they put me on the Blue Plan, which worked well. I lost almost exactly 2 lbs per week through the whole process.

I started following the blue plan on 9/22 (using Lunas in place of LA Lites). It is now 10/4 and I'm down 6 lbs. Not bad. Now that I'm back in the swing of the plan, I'm remembering how easy it was and am kicking myself for not doing this before.

Anyway, I'd like to add some cardio exercise (jogging, workout tapes, etc.) but I'm not sure if I should be making any adjustments to the plan. I remember when I was going to the center, they would always ask if I was planning to incorporate any exercise because they would have to change my plan.

Does anyone know what modifications I should make to the Blue Plan if I start adding exercise?

    Thanks!
