Some of the old-timers know I like to lead challenges....I never win them but they keep me focused and in the game. So, I want to lead a Thanksgiving Challenge and by doing this, I know I'll check in more often and try a lot harder to stay on course. Every Thanksgiving we join three other families and we rent a big beach house and just have a good time....I really want to be at least 15 lbs lighter by this trip and it's about 15 weeks until thanksgiving, so surely I can do this, right??? WELL, if I have some folks joining me, it would be a little more fun and, as always, I'll have a prize for the winner - a $25 Amazon gift card!!....(anyone that signs up by September 1 can join this challenge; the main rule is that you post your weight weekly; the other rule is that you post and humor me and challenge me along the way!). So, who's in?
I'll put my start weight in tomorrow (egads!) and my goal will be 15 lbs in 15 weeks....

I'll join! I want to be 26lbs lighter in 15 weeks. Thats approx 2/week with a little lee way. So far I have been averaging 4lbs a week but thats the beginning of my weight loss and I expect it to change!

The challenge will start between August 11-August 31....It will end on Thursday, November 20 because that is the last day I'll be able to send the prize.......Of course, my goal is to win the prize.....but that typically doesn't happen for me.....But I'm really motivated...so who knows!! Wonder how many "Thallengers" (Thanksgiving + Challenger = Thallenger) I'll get - I'm hoping for at least 10!!
I'm in, I need the motivation of a challenge to stay on track. LOVE the thallenger. I may put signs of that up. haha.

I am so in. I just joined the group today. I am excited about the mutual support to get to the goal. My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week by the deadline.
As of today, August 11th, my weight is 175. I am 5ft6. Whatever I lose will be welcome! The ultimate goal is to be a healthy weight to plan for having a baby.
I've been awol, but I'm in. I'd love to be down 15 and could use the motivation!
