We are getting an inch an hour of snow.

Brighten
WOW that is terrific. I wish I knew how you do it lol. By the time I get the required amounts of the four basic food groups in each day 1 pound a week is about the best I can do.

Shy, I just watched a weather report, and they think we'll get up to 15 inches of snow by tomorrow night. It's probably the same for you. It's also supposed to get pretty windy later. Our son is supposed to come home tomorrow for spring break, but he may be staying longer in Indiana. I don't want him out on the roads.

I'm with you on the pound a week. Most of the time it's that or less. Not gaining is good though!!

So far out of that 15 inches we have gotten about 4 or maybe a little more. We aren't in that snow belt we are just outside of it. Drive is now clear and since I have no where I have to go. I couldn't care less how much we get lol. Did have my daughters father take her back and forth to work. Wasn't sure how bad the roads might be late at night.

SHY, glad you're not getting hammered by the snow. Our weather doesn't know what it wants to do.

I am going to make up my gym day that I missed today. When I get off work I am going to run home change clothes then take my bedding the the BIG washer at the laundromat, then work out when that is done. Should be a nice switch to mornings. But I am looking forward to getting back on schedule MONDAY!

I also agree that I would be happy with 1lb per week...I mean 2 would be SUPER but I will surely not complain about 1..lol

Shy, you must have been in the snow belt after all!! We ended up with 11 inches and lots of wind. Drifts everywhere. Our county has been on a Level 3, so they were arresting people who were out on the roads. Our son ended up driving home this morning. He decided it would be better to come in the daylight. It took 2 1/2 hours and it usually takes an hour. Glad to have him home. The area we live in has all of the snow removal done for us. We pay so much a year for that, the mowing, and just general outside maintenance of the condos. The majority of the people on our street are senior citizens. I think there are only 3 people under 60 years old. Our son, me, and our new neighbor.

We've already decided we aren't going to church in the morning. Not worth going in the ditch and wrecking the car.

It was up to 45 degrees, and the snow is starting to melt. It's supposed to get warmer this week, and we are supposed to have rain. Then we'll be having flood warnings. Amazing.

I haven't gotten back on the Alli since we've been home. I took it a while when we got to GA, but I quit taking it when I was sick. Hubby and son told me this morning that it is time for me to go to the doctor here because they don't think I'm better. I've been running a temperature again, so maybe they are right. Bummer.

It sounds like the doc might be the best place to go right now. If it is the darn virus that is going around there isn't much they can do but better to be safe than sorry. Nice and warm here too about 45 I think. Going to be warm for the next few days. Sigh, all those hours in the cold shoveling snow and now it is going to go away lol. I wish it would stick around for awhile. My yard looks lovely. We live about 1/2 hour or so out of the snow belt. When it hits my little valley it really hits. Nuts out there lol. My daughters father took her to work and brought her home for two days. I wouldn't let her drive.

OMG ladies it was 64 degrees here yesterday! that was sooo nice. My friend and I walked for 2 hours last night, neither one of us wanted to stop, it was fun! I bet we walked 5-6 miles!

I am hanging in at the same weight! Which is fine with me, I am doing good I think. I am almost halfway to my GYM minutes goal for the month and will certainly make that.

Bright-you are doing so well, I love to come and read your posts...you inspire me.

Shy-you also inspire me. I love that you are on here also. Thanks for all your support, even when I was REALLY off track!

Thats great. Walking is so good for us. All the things it does for the body. I don't think we can walk enough. We all have rough times. Sometimes what we need is someone to stand beside us. You have been there for me when I needed the support most.

The snow is slowly melting away. It was pretty, I do have to admit.

My cough is much better. I think I'll hold off on the doctor now.

Hubby just went to Subway to pick up sandwiches for lunch. We are in a housecleaning mode today. Oh boy!

Have a great day everyone!!

I love subway. Put it in the bowl and don't eat the bread. Way to many carbs in the bread for what it is. I get mine made that way every time we go. I think they should charge me less because I don't eat their bread lol. Cleaning house. Hey, that is good for you. Burns calories, keep you off the street and lets you tell the hubby what to do lolol.

Bright, I do that also, infact at our subway you can request any sandwhich to be a salad, I think it is a little cheaper, but I could be wrong.

Well I missed the Gym on Wednesday, I was out a little tooooo late Tuesday night celebrating my B-day. So I needed a little extra sleep.

Now today I think I may be getting the FLU. I have been feeling SOMETHING coming since about 2am. But I am at work and we will see how long I last!

Happy birthday. Sorry, I had no idea. I don't like bread all that much anyway so I never miss it
