:D Wahoo! 2 more pounds lost! This is the lightest I've been since last year! It may be all in my head, but I think my pants are a little looser. Don't care if I'm imagining it, it's still making me feel great.

Good Morning Alli-cats & gators

Phoenix, you are making me laugh here :D and from all the energy in your post, I'm thinking you have the caffeinated tea!

My appointment is at 2pm, :dizzy:

Happy Saturday my lovlies! Gosh, reading all these really great inspiring posts makes me almost (like my disclaimer there? :D) run a marathon! Maybe someday perhaps but right now the sheer thought of running terrifies me. All that stuff jiggling around, um, no thanks. And would I really feel sorry for the people who would have so see me! Hhmmm, guess I could always run in the dark, eh? :p Sorta like that movie League of their Own and the beauty coach tells the one super scary lookin girl that she needs to play lots of night games! LOL

What can I say, I'm in a really kooky mood this afternoon! Went to bed super late and got up really early cause I just couldn't sleep. I've been to the grocery store, done 5 loads of laundry, changed my sheets, dusted & vacuumed already and it's not even 11am here! We saw Harry Potter last night. What a fun movie! I thoroughly enjoyed it even if it skipped alot from the book. I guess that's the problem when the book is so detailed , huh? It was a good one and my kids loved it. I am headed to see Hairspray on Monday, I got free tix from work, can't wait to see John Travolta as a mom! LOL

Phoenix, what an inspiring and motivating post. You rock! And BTW, I LOVE the 100 cal. packs! :D My kids do too which has been great. I really loved how you wrote about giving ourselves the best during this time, and not skimping. I am the first to admit that I am always skimping on myself to give more to the rest of the family or not be a burden. I guess it's about time I start taking something for myself now. It could mean all the difference to me sticking to this!

ThinGirl, I hope your weigh in goes fantastic!! We're eagerly awaiting the results! :carrot:

Bobbigene, congrat's on the 2 lbs gone forever! :cheer:

As for the TE's, but uh, I think I would much rather not have them then hope I get them. Ew. No, IMO I think the key is to try and not to have them. And thank the good Lord above that I haven't had a one yet! :dizzy:

Okay, off to crank up my iPod and hit the bike. Have an awesome day ladies and be good to you!

Hun.e.B 07-14-2007 04:35 PM

Way to go Bobbiegene!!! You are doing so great!!! Such an amazing inspiration! Keep it up because you are just shrinking away on us!!

thingirl...cant wait to hear the good news!!

Danielle you are just cruisin today!!! Its so great to see!! How'd that bike ride go?

I'm having another fantastic day! Started it off early no thanks to the kids having friends spend the night. Did a little yardsaling, got my dog a new house. Then I needed a nap LOL! I'm hoping to get out for a bikeride today but its so hard when its over 100 and doesnt start cooling off till 10ish.

Keep on rocking everyone!!!

OMG you guys!!! I lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks!! I can't believe it, my weigh in today was 189, down from 198 3 weeks ago :) I've lost 26 pounds since May 5th!! :carrot:

I believe Alli is the key to the extra pounds - check out the progress

May 5 - start weight 215 :(

May 20 - weight = 209 - 6 pounds lost in 2 weeks (average 3 pounds a week - no Alli)

Jun 3rd - weight = 204 - 5 pounds lost in 2 weeks (Average 2.5 pounds per week -No Alli)

June 23rd - weight = 198 - 6.5 pounds lost in 3 weeks (Average 2.1 pounds per week - no Alli)

July 14 - weight = 189 - 9 pounds lost in 3 weeks (3 pounds per week with Alli!) :D

I am so excited and pleased, it's like there is light at the end of the tunnel and don't forget I had the willpower breakdown a few days ago with Mrs Fields cookies. :o

Congratulations on the 9 pound loss!!!! I hope to be looking back at 26 pounds lost in two months. You inspire us with your words and your results. It will be exciting to see what the next 3 weeks bring.

Good luck everyone! May we all have similar losses to celebrate in the near future!

ThinGirl in FatBody 07-15-2007 10:20 AM

Hi Phoenix! thanks for your support!

My next weigh in/appointment is in 2 weeks on July 28th, the reason being is on August 1st I'm going to Universal Orlando for 5 nights. I have several reservations at restaurants in Universal so I am printing the menus out from the web and my dietitian is going to help me pick meals in advance. I am a little afraid of restaurant eating for 6 days. :o

Hopefully we will be doing so much walking all day that I won't gain anything. I plan to wear a bathing suit and go to the pool/hot tub :dizzy: first time in 3 or 4 years that I've put one on.
