Default What a Week!

For once in my life, I may actually be looking forward to going back to work next week!

First, I had my surgery.

Then, Thursday late afternoon, John decided to go for a bike ride. He missed the curb, went over the bicycle and dislocated his shoulder and broke the bone on the outside of the shoulder. At first, they thought he'd also damaged his wrist, but the orthopedic surgeon says no. We spent about 8 hours in the ER and then he had to go see an orthopedic surgeon and get a CT scan yesterday. He'll find out on Tuesday if he has to have surgery on the arm.

Then last night, the row of townhouses across the lawn from us caught on fire. 3 of the 5 burned very badly. They think it was kids playing with firecrackers.

What next?

Hey Vicki!

We're not planning on him rescheduling the big V. It's not a major deal and the doctor said he could even drive himself home afterward -- they just numb the area and don't put you out. He's still going to do it as far as I know but I'll probably take him.

Well, good luck this week....it sure isn't dull at your house is it!!!! You almost have to laugh don't you instead of crying.

OK take a deep breath and be thankful the fires stayed across the street, your operation is over and you feel well....next on list hubby's V and his shoulder visit at the Dr. I hope he is not in pain!

You have so much going on, I will say a prayer for you and hubby......
