Default The 10-lb Challenge!!!!

Ok ladies we need to get this going, Lynn has to have surgery and needs to lose 10 lbs and so let's all join in and get 10 lbs off with her. This will start tomorrow, Wednesday. Our goal date is June 30th, 2006. To lose 10 lbs in the next 5 weeks! Can we do it?!?!? YES WE CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

So come here daily or as often as you can and lets get our butts in gear!!!

REady? Set.....................let's get moving!!!!

THE 10 LB CHALLENGE DAY 1 WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY, MAY 24, 2006

And my goals for the DAY will be:

1. DRINK UP that water!! I have been so bad on this and have got to get my butt in gear!

My goals for Weds. will be do my walking DVD but only 1/2 mile (as I am building up to the mile) and stick eat strictly on plan.

My goals will be..

1. drink my water!

2. Do cardio every morning and weights on MWF

This will be bunches of fun! and with school out, I am the only one that has to get up, so I can get out of the house even faster in the mornings!

My goals for the day will be:

Drink Water water water
Stick to the 3 hours


*Note: I'm going camping (yea!) and will be gone Thurs/Fri/Sat - so my goal while camping will be:

Water
Walking everyday (I'm sure we'll be doing alot of that anyway - even with the kids)

We generally eat well during camping - so I'm not going to worry too much. The only junk food we're bringing is marshmallows to roast - skipping the chocolate & graham crackers!) I will be just fine as long as I can stay away from soda and grab the water instead!!!

I'm ready! I have made my self a to-do list for everyday to make sure I get it all in! I am the to-do list queen, if it can be or be on a list it is! I think it helps me stay focused. I have a daily chore list for everyone in my family, my son can never say " I forgot what my chores are", if you have a nine year old you know what I am saying!.

I wish everyone the best of luck! We can do it!

My goal is to cut out whites - white rice, white pasta, white potatoes, white bread, cereal with fewer than 8 g of fiber
cut out sweets - no cookies, cake, candy, soda
and eat veggies, fruit, complex carbs and protein everyday.

I gained 7 lbs yesterday during surgery! The surgeon is in trouble now!

My plan will be to drink my water, eat more veggies and get back to the gym as soon as I am allowed to.

how is every one doing on this challenge? I can't remember what my start weight was for it, but I know I have been doing well staying with my goals.

I have only lost about 4 lbs. and that was what I had gained on vacation in early May.....I am now trying to get below the 190 mark.

How is everyone else doing???
