It would be helpful to me as a newcomer and as only 3 wks in to the plan to get some advice from the wise ones coming before me on this plan...What are some of the sample meals you have for breakfast / lunch? what about snacks...i'm over 300 so my snacks are at 400cal...

thanks--would really appreciate getting an idea of how yall plan / organize your food..?

Hi MoonGoddess~
I hope you're still reading here. For breakfast I have 2 eggs (egglands best), Morning Star sausage patty, 2 slices of 5 grain light bread (it's Aunt Millie's and 2 slices is 80 cal) or I'll have cereal, I like Optimum Slim or Power Breakfast, it has 10gms of fiber and throw some fruit like a banana or blueberries in it and it's filling. I use Hood's Carb countdown fat free milk. I liked that back when I was low carbing. I still watch my carbs. I watch everything. Snacks I like Dannon's yogurt smoothies. I buy fit n light and of course their low carb ones too, and a cheese stick. Or fruit, like an orange or apple w/ natural peanutbutter. Lunch when I'm home is a salad with veggies, some kind of meat cut up over it and dressing. I like the Light done right 3 cheeses. Since I've been working this week it's been a sandwich (turkey or roast beef w/jalapeno cheese and a southwestern type mustard), unsalted mini pretzels and a yogurt smoothie. My afternoon snack is always some type of fruit, makes me feel better, energized almost. Dinner since the weather got nice I grill daily. Chicken, Beef, Pork, Elk, or Venison, with some type of vegetable and salad. I drink 128oz of water a day, it's easy since it's been warm. Okay I guess I've 'd enough. Hope this helps you some.
