Default Its Monday again!!

How is everyone??? How did WI go for everyone? Did we all have a great Mothers Day???? Anyone do anything special???

I had Larry and his kids and my mother over for dinner and even got a surprise visit from my oldest brother and his family.

I am down 2 lbs this week for a total of 5 but it is TOM so its not an accurate reading so we will see next week.

How is everyone else doing?

Laurie, you are doing awesome! Keep up the good work!

So I have kind of drifted away for a week or so. I was VERY busy at work last week. I managed to STS again last week, so I guess that is good. But I seriously need to drop at least 4 lbs to get back into my summer clothes. If I could get my rear in gear and exercise, maybe I could do a lot better than that.

So, in that regard, I cleaned the computer room this weekend. We bought a new computer table for Michelle that my husband assembled last night. Now we can finally get her computer out of the kitchen! Yay! And, the even better news is I cleared out a spot for the treadmill that has been sitting in my garage since November. My brother came over and we got it moved in! Yippee!! I am so excited about this! When I was using the treadmill over the winter at Robert's therapy, I lost inches and pounds. As soon as I stopped, it crept back on. And that was using it for 30 minutes 2 to 3 times a week. Imagine if I use it for 45 minutes 3 to 4 times a week?! Now I really have NO EXCUSES not to exercise. I know it would be better to do it in the morning, but I honestly don't have the gumption to get up any earlier. In all honesty, I will probably use it in the evenings while watching TV. That would be so much better that sitting on my rump and watching, right?! So, this is it ladies - no more excuses! Sharon is going to shed the pounds!!

The rest of the weekend was nice. Robert made me breakfast yesterday for Mothers Day. The kids picked some very nice and thoughtful gifts for me. We went over my MIL in the afternoon for a birthday party for 5 of my nieces and nephews - can you spell E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E?!
Today Robert goes back to the doctor for a checkup on his legs. We have lots of questions for him. Hoping to get some answers. Thats about it for me. How bout everyone else?

2 pounds gone and STS is wonderful!

I STS myself as well. Too much eating this week on occasion. But I'll take a STS anytime over gaining. It's time to shed at least 1 pound this week! I'll get to work on that. I was so tired last night that I gave up to the cravings and ate what I was craving. But I forgive myself! It's not the end of the world! Today, I will get back to eating healthy!

My 6 years old daughter had a dance recital Saturday. She did great. She was so cute and she had lots of fun! She actually decided she wanted to continue dancing in September. So I'm really glad she wants to continue. I like it when she does gymnastics as well, but it's nice to see a recital at the end like this of her accomplishments. My youngest really liked the recital as well. She was dancing in her chair! She was cute! When she turns 3, I will put her in a class as well! She loves to dance and sing too!

When we left we saw Canada's prime minister. He was there as well. This was the recital of about 70 kids. His daughter was one of the dancers. I had to take a picture of my daughter, husband and the prime minister! My husband's request! He wanted to show the picture to my brother since my brother had a picture with the last prime minister! Men are such strange creatures! And of course, he had to tell the caregiver this morning, and will be telling all his colleagues!

So now, that the recital is over, it's time to get ready for Cloé's 2nd birthday party this weekend! She will be 2 this Thursday! They grow up so quickly. Sometimes, I feel like I just gave birth to her not that long ago! 3 nights ago, she slept in a bed. Yesterday, we took down the crib. She had been sleeping in her sister's room for the first 2 nights, but yesterday, we got her room ready so she wouldn't get used to sleeping with her sister! I had to go up 3 times to put her back to bed, but nothing major! It's going really well!

In a few weeks, I will paint the walls and her dresser to complete her Tinkerbell decor! I'm just waiting for a not too busy weekend to do it!

Well, have a nice day everyone!

Francine - are you just now figuring out men are strange? Where have you been girl??? I understand my cat better than my husband. At least the cat makes sense -- I'm hungry, I want attention, I want to go out and play, leave me alone as I'm sleeping. 4 moods, no more.

Sharon - good to see you are getting back in the exercise mode. Exercise is so very good for you -- and the best part is when you are done!

Laurie - glad to hear you had a good weekend. Started that wedding planning yet?

It's kind of a quiet day here. I have the munchies, but I have plenty of pre-measured, calorie counted food to cover it, so I'll be OK.
