Back with my mid-week check in. Drinking my water, and thinking about exercising. Now if I could just get the rest of me to line up with the thinking then the exercise might happen. I still do my 15 min. walks on my breaks at work, but I have stubborn fat and I know that it takes more to move it.

Hi everyone! Figured I better check in while I can. ;) I worked Monday and Tuesday, and didn't get in my workouts I planned. :( Though work is one long workout. Monday I got over 20,000 steps and yesterday I got around 18,000. I was going to work today but I'm sore from it and will work tomorrow. I'm going to get in my mile workout this evening. I'm waiting on some more Leslie tapes I ordered. It has a yoga walk in it and I sure could use that after doing basements.
Francine ~ I agree with you on not stressing out over eating out. If you made good choices and are working out, so be it. :D I've changed my mindset from diet to lifestyle and everything in moderation is my new motto. I think I set myself up for failure with a "diet" mindset.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to go read the rest of the posts.

ok,
I haven't posted recently, in part due to my not quite understanding how to chart my points. My starting weight was 194, I'm back to 190 now. I got my weekly walk in last week and have gone on a short one this week (not sure if I should count it or not). I have failed to do my 8 minute work outs but am doing good at eating pretty close the 3 hour mark and am now working on balancing the food groups/calories.
So this week I am doing ok, no weight loss yet, I really need to focas on those exersises and food portioning.

midweek post
 
Seems more or less everyone is stickin to their goals, except me.. maybe i shouldn't have put excercising as my goal coz i can eat on plan and drink the water and eveything.. its just the excercise that i have trouble with at the moment since i have so much work to do.. I also just started a new course which is Macroeconomics so my load has increased, besides i love economics so i'll probably spend all my free time reading articles and searching about things that interest me in the course..i can't help myself.

Anyways, i think i'll change my goal for next week.

Don't worry Emma, I am not doing well with my excersizing either. I am just not motivated to move! The weather is getting better so maybe I will come out of my slump... I leave for Baltimore tomorrow night...so I gotta start packing.

Okay, time for my midweek post. I am pretty disappointed in myself. I have NOT stuck to the program at ALL this week. :( No reason, just can't seem to get my act together. I have been drinking my water, so at least I have that going for me. But I have not done any exercise and I have NOT made good choices with my foods. I really have no excuse - just didn't do it. This is how I sabotage myself. I know where I want to get to, but I am ALWAYS taking detours. :mad: It is only Thursday, so I still have a chance to redeem myself for this week. I am NOT giving up or throwing in the towel!

Come on ladies, tell me how great you are doing to inspire me! ;)

I seem to be the same but I am still doing really well with the water and my eating seems to be under control. Results or no I am doing the right thing for me and my body. Slow and steady and for all the right reasons will get me where I need to be.

Reporting in. This week is going much better than last week!!! Hopefully I will at least be back on the plus side of the challenge ..... lol

Sunday will be a hard day to start the week off with and Monday I have a lunch out but I will do my best to watch my portions and what I put in my MOUTH!!!!

3) Goal: exercise 3X week, drink my water, and lower my salt intake. ( 0 ) i couldn't stick to my goal. This week's goal will be: to drink my water and lower my salt intake and try to cut down on the diet sodas.

Sunday WI for me. I have a total of 2 pts. as of April 15

1) Weigh in 192
2) + 3 (which puts me back to 0)
3) Goal: to exercise at the gym 2X's/week and lose a total of 6 lbs.(at least)and walk a bit further each day.

4) You must post on your specified WI date plus another day durring the week that will get you another +1 point. This must be posted on this thread.

5) If you are able to make it through the 4 week challenge give yourself +5 points for completing the challenge.

1) Weigh in Sunday - Beginning Weight 260 lbs. - Weight on 4/16 259 lbs. (on Fri, was down 2 lbs, but it’s that TOTM :( bummer.)

2) Each week on WI day you record (post) your progress...+1 point for every pound lost and -1 point for every pound gained. 1 pts.

3) Week 2 goal: eat more veggies: 1 pt if I meet goal - 0 pts if I don't. 1 pts. (veggies)

4) You must post on your specified WI date plus another day during the week that will get you another +1 point. 1 pt. Use Sundays

5) If you are able to make it through the 4 week challenge give yourself +5 points for completing the challenge.

Week 3 Goal: 100 oz water everyday

So I have 3pts for the 1st week.
My goals this week are the same:
1) To do my workouts I have planned.didn't make
2) Not to eat after 8 p.m.made
3) To drink a minimum of 64oz of water a day. made

My weigh in for this morning was 220, lost a pound.:carrot:

Okay - here is my weekly WI post. I was at 2 points as of April 9th.

1) WI - I am at 185, which is a STS. No points earned.

2) Goals for last week - 100 oz water every day Met
Exercise at least 3 times NOT met - 0 points earned

3) Post midweek - Met - 1 point earned


That puts me at a total to date of 3 points.


My goals for this week are 100 oz of water per day and a minimum of 3 days of exercise. I have VERY high hopes of meeting my goal this time!
