Okay, time for my midweek post. I am pretty disappointed in myself. I have NOT stuck to the program at ALL this week. :( No reason, just can't seem to get my act together. I have been drinking my water, so at least I have that going for me. But I have not done any exercise and I have NOT made good choices with my foods. I really have no excuse - just didn't do it. This is how I sabotage myself. I know where I want to get to, but I am ALWAYS taking detours. :mad: It is only Thursday, so I still have a chance to redeem myself for this week. I am NOT giving up or throwing in the towel!

I seem to be the same but I am still doing really well with the water and my eating seems to be under control. Results or no I am doing the right thing for me and my body. Slow and steady and for all the right reasons will get me where I need to be.

Okay - here is my weekly WI post. I was at 2 points as of April 9th.

I havent posted regularly, so so sorry.I have failed misserably up till now 1) starting weight was 194...last week I weighed in 190 (equals 4 points) and this week weighed in at 191 (-1 point), so in this categorie I equal a 3 2) my goals ( failed all prior weeks) this week I'm starting at getting at least 4 cups in each day ( some days I haven't even picked up a cup- oh the head sches I've been having) and to do some form of exercise at least 3 times this week ( walk/tread mill/ or 8 minute exercise) 3) mid week weigh in ( no points on this, I haven't been doing) on Thursday |
I really don't believe I lost the 4 pounds, so I am not going to record this week. I will check when I get back home...great job for everyone...keep up the good work!:carrot:

1st weeks Point: 5 pts
This week, on Sunday, I was up by 1 pound. -1 pts But I did post my mid-week and my weight in, so +1 pts. So basically, I'm staying put at 5 pts after 2 weeks. Now, that Easter is over, it's time to shed some pounds again. |
Alright - here is my midweek check in. Easter went fairly well. I didn't eat too much candy, just 1 dessert, small portions of food. Monday was excellent. I did wonderful on food and I exercised and got my water in. A very successful day for me. Tuesday went well until about 6 pm. My son acted up and I got very angry with him. I let the anger carry over and control my eating. I didn't eat junk food, just WAY too much dinner. I also didn't go for my walk because I let my emotions take over. I need to work on this whole emotional part! :(
Anyhow, I am back and doing well today. I am pushing the water and watching food type and portion. I think I can jump right back on track this time. And all is well with Bobby today also, so we will just turn the page from yesterday. ;) How is everyone else doing this week? Sharon |
My mid-week post
Well, my weight is still higher then Sunday. But I'm not panicking just yet. I've exercised quite a lot over the long weekend, and I think, I may have more muscles. I checked my measurements, and they are lower then a month ago. And that's impossible with just 3 pounds lost to that weight in. So I'm assuming it may be muscle gain. So although I do not like the weight increase, in the end, it is good. More muscle burns more fat. I'll see on Sunday what my real weight in is and if I've lost any weight this week or gained.
I had a craving last friday for pasta and cheese when ordering from this place. I decided to be good and order a chicken taco salad. Well, I should have ordered pasta and added a chicken breast. The craving was too much so when my girls had their order of pasta, I took a bowl of that as well on top of my salad. So in the end, I have learned that sometimes, it's not good to deny a craving for something. It's a lesson learned. But I did exercise all 4 days of the weekend to compensate on the overeating on friday, sunday's fondue and chocolate. But I am proud to report I have not binged on chocolate. In fact, I have not binged in quite a while. |
mid week update
Howdy. Thought I better check in tonight as I'm working tomorrow and friday. Having a good week so far. Went to the Detroit zoo today with Lane and his 2nd grade class. My feet hurt!! Been doing good on my workouts and getting 10,000 + steps in a day. Drinking 96oz of water too. It gets easier as it gets warmer. I have passed my goal of walking 85 miles for this month, I'll change my siggy soon. I'll be uping my goal by 25 miles. :carrot: Well I'm off to dream land. Talk to you all soon. Wed nite check in: things are okay, got my water in one day, then about 84 oz tue, and today, I probably only drank about 40 oz!!! Food is OKAY, nothing to brag about, my portions are under control, but I haven't stuck at all to the every 3 hours. I gotta get back with it.!!!! Especially bc saturday I have an 'easter' celebration at my mom's house and she's COOKING!!! :drool:

I'm not sure I did a posting here this week so I am just squeezing this one in because I am going to need the point.
My scales are not moving and we leave on our vacation next Thursday so I can't finish this challenge but I had hoped to do better than this. Oh well, a few more days left....I'll drink my water and be good!!! Phyllis |
This is almost the exact same post I put last weekend. I have to kick my butt now and up my points this week.
1st weeks Point: 5 pts This week, on Sunday, I was up by 1 pound. -1 pts But I did post my mid-week and my weight in, so +1 pts. 3) Goal is to exercise 3 times/week and continue my 8MM 6 times/week. No binging, Eat Healthy. 1 pt if I meet goal - 0 pts if I don't. I did meet my goals the week before, but forgot to count that point. So + 1 points for 2 weeks ago (not this week, I binged last night) for meeting my exercise goals and no binging. So adding 1 points to my previous 5, brings me up to 6 points for this challenge. |

Okay, here is my midweek check in. I am doing great with my water this week. Have hit the 100 oz each day so far. Still not exercising, but I am developing a plan that I think I can make actually work. The idea of joining Bally's or another gym just doesn't seem to be something I can do right now. But I have plans to get a room cleaned this weekend and get the treadmill in there and operating. I think I am setting myself up to reasonably expect to get regular exercise in. I still firmly believe I can do this! :carrot:
I was up a lb after my weekend away, but I seem to have dropped that lb. So I am still a STS as far as this challange goes. Maybe I can drop 1 or 2 lb before Sunday's WI so I can earn a few points. :p Make every bite count ladies! Sharon |
Well, here is my mid-week post for this challenge. Although I've gained 3 more pounds since Sunday's weight in, this challenge for me will last longer then just 4 weeks. Every single day, I will challenge myself to keep it up.
Tonight, I will try to do my jogging at home on the treadmill. I will go walking today at lunch time as usual. I may have already lost the opportunity to gain a point for my goal of not binging and exercising, since I've been binging but I can still continue to exercise as usual to stay fit and healthy. The important thing is that I'm back on my feet now ready to eat healthy again and continue to work on my fitness goals! |
I did not post mid-week of last week, I did not post Monday and here I am today. School papers and projects have just been overwhelming. I lost one of the 2 lbs. that I gained on Monday of last week. I don't know how many pts. I have or don't have. I have been off schedule. I will try to start with next month's challenge and pull myself back together.

Oh I thought I posted. ...maybe I did in another thread??? Anyway, things are up now, they were down earlier, but all is back on track now, even thou I made homemade donuts - I only ate two and they were within my plan. So hopefully, I won't gain back the 3 lbs lost. I think I'll be okay. Hopefully, I may even lose another pound??? Water intake is okay, but I'm not meeting my goal. I thought for sure that I would. ...

I lost a pound this week. :carrot: But I didn't complete all my workouts :o so no points there.So that's my #1 goal this week, to get up an hour early and workout!! So point wise this week I got 2 for a total of 8. I'm going to go get my menu and workouts planned out for this week. Talk to you soon. |
Well, on April 16 I was at 5 points
I earned 1 point for mid week check in on April 19 and another midweek check in on April 26 Add 2 points! I did not earn any points either week for goals because I did not exercise 3 times per week. :( I did however meet my water goals, so that is a positive for me! :smug: Weigh In yesterday was 183, which was a 2 pound loss!! :carrot: Add 2 points! I am assuming this is the last check in for the April challenge, so I am giving myself 5 points for making it to the end! That gives me a total for the April challenge of 14 points!! Yay! |

I previously earned 6 points.
This week was a week to get back on plan. All those 3 pounds I had gained, I lost back. So today, I weight the same as I weighted in last week.:carrot: So my points are still to 0 for weight loss, but I am still trilled to be back down. Goal wise for this week, I unfortunately had been binging because I stressed out too much. So I did keep up the exercise part of the goal, but not the no binging. But that's okay. 0 points. I did post twice for this week, giving me 1 point. This is the end of the challenge, and although I've had a difficult time in the last 2 weeks, I still didn't give up and motivated myself back on plan. Earned 5 points for sticking with the challenge in good and bad times. Total of 12 points. |
