Post It's Friday!!!!

Well again another off plan week, my life is just too complicated right now but I am getting exercise 3 x's a week and try to watch what I am eating just not OP. And the water has gone way down. I am working on that one starting today.

Update on my BIL. He finally got started on his radiation treatments Weds. He can only have 10 of them because of where the cancer is located on his spine so we are praying that these will help with the unbearable pain he is in.
Still no prognoses.

I went to my Minister yesterday to talk with him (he is also our friend). I have never done that before and was so nervous. I told him about my BIL, and all the other life changing events going on in our lives right now and he said you know I think you can say you have been "dumped on"......love this man. It was a good talk and he was very helpful and I felt much calmer when I left his office.

Well, my trip to Kentucky, Ohio and Gatlinburg is coming up the end of April so I have to get some of this weight off....I am going to figure out my own little challenge this week-end just for me and if anyone wants to join in they are welcome.

Good luck on your WI ladies.

Phyllis I'll keep your BIL in thoughts and prayers. Just take it a day at a time, doing the exercise 3x's a week is great. Maybe this weekend you can plan out your next week menu to help you stay on track. Let us know what kind of challenge you're going to be doing.

Phyllis, prayers for your family. Do what you can right now and get back on track when you are ready. This is a life journey, not a destination and there is no time table to reaching goal except the arbitrary ones we set for ourselves.

I finally have a kitchen sink and can run the dishwasher! Yippee! We have a very messy kitchen which the DH will be cleaning today and tomorrow. We have people coming over on Sunday for an Oscar party. It's nice having someone home to clean.

My thoughts are with you and your family...I know how difficutl it can be..
I think it is a great idea to have our own little challenge for the weekend.
Mine will be drinking my water..I am very lax in that department.
Yes...the weather is beautiful here is South Florida..my girlfriend and I (and baby) went for a walk this morning...it was beautiful.

Hi Everyone!

Phyllis -- My prayers are also with you and your family. I am sorry to hear you are being "dumped on" right now. I hope it all looks up for you soon. I am glad you are checking in here still!

My weight loss has been stagnent lately and I have made a conscious decision to step everything up a notch! I am committing myself for the next 12 weeks to really strict eating and exercise. We are going to visit some relatives in the East in June and my goal is to look and feel my best ever by the time I go!!! I want to really work on defining my muscles and losing body fat%! I will be doing 1 hour of cardio per day plus 20-30 minutes of weights. It is a lot but I really want to do this for myself! Plus, bathingsuit season is just around the corner and I want to look my best ever! I am also planning on being extremely strict with my diet. Lots of grilled meats and veggies. Not much pasta, etc. It will not be 100% 3 hour diet but it will be close! I plan to eat every 3 hours!

Anyway, I will need as much support as I can! I have to drill my goals into my head so that I can recall them when I am tempted to put something "off plan" into my mouth. This will be a huge personal challenge but I *really* want to do it!

Bathing suits. AAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I won't even go into that section at the store.

Phyllis-Prayers for you BIL. You are doing an amazing job, esp. will all your added stress. One day at a time, just do what you can. That's what I do. And sometimes, that's a whole lotta nuthin'!

Glad it's Friday. Nothing planned for the weekend, just shovel out the house again. It's amazing how quickly kids can destroy it. It's clean when I go to bed at night. I swear they invite all their friends over while I'm asleep. Either that or their toys are reproducing!

I'm feeling better today. Keeping the depression at arm's length. I even feel ready to exercise and drink my water. Baby steps.
