Good Morning,

No big plans for today. I'll go food shopping & stop by my DD's to feed her cat - they went to NY to visit my SIL's family. Then I'll spend some time here and with my students.

I ordered an outfit in next smallest size - not bc I needed it, just bc I wanted something in next smallest size. I hope it fits.

Our regular aid called in sick, but an aid who used to work for us & is very good is coming instead.

Got to go plan my day's meals.

take care,

Lynn

Well I have to leave in about 30 mins to take my daughter to school and I am still not dressed! Then I have to be at work at 11am until 4pm. Steven has baseball practice at 4:30 to 5:30 and then sometime I will eventually make it home. I am still all congested and I can't stand not being able to breath! UGH!

So got a busy day ahead of me so I need to go get started!

Have a great day everyone!

I could not resist WI this morning because the 1.5 lb. gain from TOM had my curiosity real high. Well, needless to say, I'm down .5 lbs from last week's WI. That feels much better. Sigh of relief. No big plans for today, just work, water and exercise as usual.

My husband was admitted to the hospital yesterday with ligththeadedness and he almost fell over several times. He will get an MRI today but they are pretty sure it is a form of Vertigo and is not a disease and very treatable.....Thank God!!!

Needless to say yesterday was spent in Dr.s and hospital and eating is so messed up as was the exercise I didn't do yesterday. Had a TV dinner last night when I was home for 30 mins. and I know the salt killed me up a lb. On the other hand dh is saying they are starving him......lol

So I am off to the hospital, work and hopefully exercise he should get out this afternoon as soon as the Dr. reads the MRI and that is clear.

Wish us luck.....Phyllis

Hope everyone heals up! My allergies have kicked in just in time for my vacation. I will be in Vegas for the next few days- that's right. "Home of the diet"- I have my workout clothes packed and have promised myself I will go to the gym at least twice while I am there. We do have a few restaurants planned. I think the big motivation came from the fact that I had to go buy clothes in the next size up to have something nice to wear... ugh.

Well, Phyllis - I sure hope that works out okay for your dh. Vertigo is usually a symptom of some neurological issue and not a stand-alone problem - but we never know. Sure hope that MRI is clean! Hugs to you!

Today is an eh sort of day - nothing too mind boggling going on here... just work and a trip to Target while ds is in school. I feel fat today - not sure why. sometimes my brain tries to trick me - the inner fat girl tells me how fat I am and I will never be successful - I usually just tell her to go lay down by her dish and keep quiet.

Anywho - have a terrific day everyone!! What an active little group this has become!

My inner fat girl is fun! She has been very difficult to resist.

She keeps making me have thoughts like, "Wow! That top in the Lane Bryant window is really cute. It will be a while before you lose weight. Maybe you should stop in."

She also noticed that the ice cream parlor is right next to Lane Bryant at the mall. Clever marketing, huh?

LOL! Like Fredericks of Hollywood is right next door to Motherhood! I always get a kick out of that.
Phyllis~ Hope all goes well! I said a prayer for you.
Laurie ~ Remember to take a deep breath every now and then. Looks like you have a busy busy day, Hang tough!
Lynn ~ What kind of outfit did you get? Isn't it fun?! I ordered a couple of shirts for Mexico. One is a halter top ! Never wore one before so I am excited. If I feel sexy then I am, right?!
Daisy ~ I have had times I have never felt fatter! I think, how I didn't see myself as big as I was and now working so hard it should be gone the next time I look! and it's almost a shock that I still look fat! WHAT!? I still have 50 lbs to go? We've all been there - hang tough! It's just our inner fat girl trying to get comfy again. Ain't gonna happen!
My inner fat girl is a whiner! I have to treat her like a 2 yr old! I think she's pissed because she's been dismissed! and it's not about her anymore!
Not a whole lot planned today. We had a beautiful! day yesterday. Clear blue skies and sunshine -- after 34 out of 35 days with rain! The kids were outside ALL day making mud pies so I have a bit of laundry to do and some ends to tie up to prepare for our trip.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning ladies!
A BIG Thank You to everyone for making me feel so welcome
I tried to log on to the JC website to cancel this am and the site is ALL screwed up again...so this is a great choice!
Both Kids are home today with the upper respiratory thing that is making the rounds! DH is also a bit under the weather. So I am stuck here all day! I had a weak moment last night and ate three handfuls of potato stick snacks! I am definately a crunchy salty girl!
Phyllis, I am thinking of you and DH. Make sure they do a cardiac work up as well. If you have any medical questions feel free to ask and I 'll see if I can help!
Donna, Is Mexico just you and DH or the whole family? How old are your kids?
I'll be around all day so talk to you all later!

Well Things are back to "normal " here kids back in school. They were out monday. DH came home very early so it almost felt like part of the weekend. Not feeling so great, Had a headache all weekend long and now I think I might have a UTI, but since I have never had one I am not real sure.
Donna I'm so glad that your trip is getting closer. Who will be watching the children? And of course if you feel sexy then surely are sexy! My inner fat girl speaks to me all the time but I am getting better at dismissing her. I hated looking at myself in the mirror but forcing myself to look and trying to find just one thing at a time that I love about my body has helped. I can actually sit down and think it out. I force myself to remember that although I may still be overweight it is in no way a reflection of my spirit. I am also reminding myself that a few months ago I was heavier then I am now. I did something about it and am still doing something about it. I could be back there heavier then I am now and gaining even more weight to add to my misery.I am proud of myself for that and will not let my inner fat girl take that from me!

Busy day here. As usual. Get the kids schoolwork out of the way, therapy, errands, and gym. I really want to start painting today.

Donna-Wasn't that dry day wonderful yesterday? I felt a little off balance, tho. Like I didn't know how to feel when I wasn't wet!

Wow! What a wonderful, upbeat, positive attitude we have around here today! Yay for all of you! Those inner fat girls don't stand a chance with everyone's way of thinking!!!

I am busy, busy as usual today. I have however managed to drink 48 oz of water by 12:30 pm today. Hope to double that by end of day and make it 100 oz! I haven't done that since warm weather I think! No exercise planned today. I will try to do some weights while watching TV tonight. I read an interesting article about working out while watching Tv for 1/2 hour per night. I think I am going to try to incorporate that into my routine/days.

Wow, Vegas, Mexico....I am jealous! We were planning to go to southern California in Apr/May, but we have had to cancel that since my husbands accident. Looks like the only traveling we will get to do this year is camping over the summer. Oh well, maybe next year......

TTFN- Sharon
