Default Unsafe Excercise

I just signed up at jorgecruise.com and was immediately disappointed by the crazy excercise that was suggested that I do. I'm 46, 100 pounds overweight and get little to no excercise. I input this information into the form when signing up. The first excercise I was instructed to do was to put my feet on a chair and get my back perpendicular to the floor and do push ups. I started to try it and found that it was just plain dangerous for someone of my age, weight and physical fitness level. I thought that this membership was supposed to tailor the diet and activity to you, but I was wrong. I cancelled my membership but of course they kept the "early termination fee" so now I just feel totally ripped-off.

Well, I know the diet workes, everyone I know you sticks to it does lose. Exercise is a huge part of shedding excess fat and sculpting lean beautiful muscle tissue, no matter your age. I used to be a member there and loved the website. I understand how you feel. But don't get discouraged there are several excerises that you can modify or change to fit your fitness level. Walking is a wonderful fitness tool and helps shed pounds as well. You are always welcome here, to post and get support. Just remember dieting is all about you and for you, you need to make sure you feel comfortable with your excersizes - otherwise (your right) they can be dangerous. Unfortunatly I never did the exercises he suggested I had my own plan, but several woman love them. So I have no personal opionion or experience if they are good. Hope you feel better.

Did you write to the help desk about it? They could have taken care of it for you. At the very least, let them know why you quit so they can fix it. They won't know unless you tell them!

Jen has a very good point. You should do that, they are so nice and very understanding people there. If I had the money I would still be there too because it is so inspiring. But I love it here too .

There are always more than one side to a situation - enter the "No Spin Zone" : Although 'they' are very friendly when you talk to them on the phone, it doesn't mean that anything anything can be done. But of course you may remain hopeful. I had an 'issue' that I was hoping they would attend to, and I stayed the full first 13 weeks - with high hopes. At the end of the time, I decided not to let them automatically continue my membership (which would have happened on auto!) when the issue was never changed or improved upon, despite promises.
But be of good cheer - this group here, this place, is even more impressive, valuable and happy than 'over there' - I am SO pleased that I was told about this, and thank the person who told me about it, from the bottom of my heart!

Hi lenderbroker
If some of the exercises are to much Jorge Cruise also has a 8 minute in the morning for real shapes real sizes kit out. to me i t gears more to the people who haven't done so much exercise or have trouble getting down. I bought it and it also has a meal plan and a instructional cd with it. Since you cancelled your membership you may want to give this one a try. Also I found walking helps me tremendously also. Just don't give up try this one it is much easier and you may like it. I found the box at Target but you may also find it on e bay.
Good luck with your journey

Like Rose mentioned, you should try walking. Since I live in the city, I walk a lot during the day and I think that it really helps me more than anything. I'm also looking into buying the 8 min in the morning...In any case, don't give up!! Best of luck to you~~
