Talking Finally back on-line, safe and sound!

3 days without electric but really hardly any damage and we are safe!! That is what is most important....Glad to see Jeanette if OK too.

My eating has been really messed up since Sunday evening so I am afraid to get on the scales.....hope not too much damage with junk food and less water.

It is so boring at night with out electric!!!! Played cards, watched movies on laptop and it would only be like 9 p.m.!!!! I really don't know what people do that don't have it for 3 or 4 weeks. We did have water (no hot water) but had to go to my son's apartment to take showers as he got his electric back the first day. But at least it was finally cold here....that was one good thing.

Thanks for all the good thoughts everyone, I really appreciate them.

Phyllis

Phyllis, glad to hear that all is well! I sent you a message - please check your private message box here when you have a moment free.
We feel so sorry for all the devastation - for all those poor people who has lost everything - how are they going to cope - what are they going to do - if they are young they have time in their favor at least!
Have a great week-end

Glad to see you are safe and sound. And ok. How aweful what natural disaters can do. I dont know how they coped in the days when they were living in cottages all over and the elctricity was oil lamps and fire. I loved Laura Ingalls, Little House on the Prarie Books, when I was younger. And the thing is they didnt know that it could be better, so (in the book) she was pretty content. But take anyone from now days and put them back there- I can't imagine it!

Anyways enough of my rambeling..............

Hug to you Phyllis

Phyliss, I lived in Port St. Lucie for the first three months after I moved here (August of last year). PSL is a much bigger city than I thought!
