Default Challenge For September!

This is our challenge thread for September!

We need a challenge and a simple fun one at that. Something that inspires us individually and we can motivate eachother as a team. Our little ones are in school now so we might as well do something for ourselves! The holidays are right around the corner. 12 weeks for Thanksgiving. 12 weeks at 2 pounds a week is 24 pounds that should be gone for Thanksgiving! How would that feel???

I challenge us all to post our OWN personal goal and each day come in here and EDIT the same post daily and and the end we will have a month of our goals listed and completed. Now we are not competeing with eachother! That way no one drops out. This is PERSONAL GOALS and we are here to cheer eachother on with them.

WHO IS IN?

I'm in also....

I'm starting JC on Monday, with my weigh in on Sunday.

I'm going to have a realistic goal like doing 8MM at least three days a week. I'm sure I can beat it, but nothing's worse than setting a goal that you don't meet--very unmotivating!

Great goals everyone!!! I am excited to see out progress with this challenge. I think challenging ourselves in the ways we know we need it the most it going to be the best yet! Keep up the good work ladies! Thanks for joining Sept Challenge- glad I'm not doing this alone.

I did my strength training today. We have a bowflex in the basement that DH faithfully uses. He worked with me today to set up a workout program for me and to show me how to set up the equipment. DH promises to work with me 2 more times so I can get the hang of it. I think I like the bowflex better than the 8 MM. I feel the burn more! And I think I will stick with it better if I only have to do it 3 x's a week instead of 6.

Karen - how awesome! A bowflex! You are going to be a hot mama soon! I would love one of those. Let me know what you think about it after a week or so.

That is what I am doing to Anita. It will be easier for me to track. But everyone should do whatever "fits" them. And we can respond and encourage eachother with new posts here on the same thread.

Thanks Dani! I am working so hard this week! Determined! My DH was walking behind me yesterday, says "hey skinny" Far from it but MAN it felt good to hear! Today being hump day, I weighed myself. I've gained 2 lbs but according to my scale I have lost 2% bodyfat this week and I know logically muscle weighs more blah blah blah and I know I have to be patient but I am still fighting with wanting it NOW! I feel awesome, my clothes fit way better and I know I am doing this the right way. Sooner or later it's (lbs.) gotta fall off right? I really just need to stay away from the scale.
