Default New Here

Hi, my name is Susan and I've been lurking around this topic here for about a week now. I heard about Jorge Cruise diet at work from someone, but I personally never saw the show that they saw him on. I went down to a book store to scan over one of the books. I've been doing it now for one week and it seems to be working so far. I've done WW in the past and had success, but for whatever reason I can't seem to make WW work for me this time around. Its funny that with the Cruise plan it ALLOWS you to have a treat at the end of the day and I choose ice cream. I bought some low cal that has 90 cal per 1/2 cup. its a little more than the 50 cal it says, but I work it in. I'm an ice cream aholic so this program gives me permission and I think psychologically that helps me.

Anyway I'm from Central California, have two grown children (one is 26 and just bought a house) and the other (21 yrs old) will be marrying in 10 months and will move back to Kentucky. Her fiance is originally from Michigan but is living out here now. I work full time and have always struggled with my weight. Right now I need to drop 20 lbs by the end of the year. That is when I will order my mother of the bride dress and would like to be smaller.

Welcome Susan!

Congrats on making the program work for you! I'm fairly new here myself -only been on this plan a week now and I love it. I started doing WW in February and it worked well but I was in a maintain for about a month and then started gaining again - even on plan.

My weight loss last week was 1.5 pounds...so I am thrilled. I'm getting married in November, so we have similar motivation! Good luck with helping your daughter plan the wedding...my mom and I are having a blast and it's brought us so much closer.

I look forward to reading your posts!

Default Corvette Car Plant - KY

I don't know how many car plants there are, but he wants to work at the Corvette plant. I'm from California and we have earthquakes all the time, but now I'm thinking about tornados. Does KY get many tornados? Thats the only think I would worry about.
