Default It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Hey there everyone! Well once again the weekend is among us. Any special plans this weekend? We have football practice tonight and tomorrow morning. Then who knows what's up!

Did the people who requested it get the email I sent with the crock pot recipes? Its a big file so watch out! Those recipes can easily be converted to the JC plan, if you have enough time to sit down and figure them out. If you do, could you please put the JC version in our recipe box up top? Thanks!!!

Ok I am off to get some breakfast and coffee!!!

Hope everyone has a great day and great weekend!

Hi Laurie & Everyone,

Thanks for the recipes. I got a crock pot for Mother's Day & I love it! I did get a Light Crock Pot recipe book. The chicken and beef stuff I have made has been delicious. Did NOT like a veal recipe I tried. I've got my meals planned for this week, but will try one of the new recipes next week.

No special plans for the weekend. I'm going to the hairdresser this morning & a student is coming to visit this afternoon. My BF and I will hopefully do something outside (don't you LOVE this weather!) tomorrow.

Check back later,

Lynn

Well, no big plans here. My dh plays golf every Sat. a.m. so I usually take that time to just do something I like....sew, read, sleep late My youngest son normally comes over and does his laundry as his apartment doesn't have a washer and dryer. No he doesn't know what a laundermat is but at least I know I will see him once a week this way .

I am up a lb. today because of the Chinese food!!! JC today had a post about that. I did well in chosing the food and only ate about 1/4 of it (they give you soooo much, so calorie wise I think I was ok....it was the sodium....Today I will drink Tons of H2o to try and flush out the salt...hopefully it will be gone by Sunday.

Well, I finally drove to the grocery store WhooHooo!!! Felt so good to do it by myself and it went fine, just didn't take a pain pill that morning and survived on Aleve. Shingle wise I am really on the mend here but the pain and headache are still sticking around but not as bad, should be only ONE more week, I hope.

Mentally I am so ready to get back to WORK....never thought I would say that and my dh is holding down our business and training a new man so he has his hands full........awh he needs me

Phyllis p.s. Laurie thanks for the crockpot recipes, they look yummy!

TGIF...

This week has been horrible at work. We are short 2 people, so I've been running around like a mad woman. Saturday, I have my first fitting for my wedding dress. Unfortunately, I haven't found shoes yet! Yikes! Oh well...I'll find something tonight.

Other than the dress fitting, I don't really have anything planned, which is what I love. I look forward to having at least one lazy weekend day. No cleaning, no shopping, no nothing.

Laurie...could you please send me that crock pot recipe file? You should have my email address from the spreadsheet I sent. Thanks!

I cannot wait until 2:10pm today....I am soooo out of here!

Hey everyone-Well no huge plans either for us this weekend. Since we just moved and don't really know many people, I decided to have a game night Sat. with some of our neighbors. Don't know if they are coming yet or not. I invited 2 couples and one said maybe and I haven't heard from the other. Ladies-I put on a pair of jeans that were so loose and falling off about 6 months ago-and now they are so tight. I had lost about 15 lbs from Oct-Jan and have gained it all back-so sad-makes me angry at myself. Oh well...I should use it to my advantage-I don't like how they fit so do something about it. I tell ya-I am having a hard time staying on the plan but I am still counting calories. I hope you guys don't mind me staying around. I am not off it completely-I still eat every 3 hrs and try to get in the veggies with every meal-so don't count me out yet. Had a great week of workouts-did a total of 160 min so far of cardio this week and will do 30 more today plus my weight training. My trainer says that everyone has a six pack -its just that some have a layer of fat over it-so we are getting mine ready with weight training...the only six pack I have seen in the last 10 years is my Miller Lite..hee hee hee ...anyway..I guess in a way in makes sense-I just feel so much better about myself now that I am exercising. I found a water calculator on line and it said that I needed to take in 154 oz of water a day. I was only taking in about 80-100 oz. So my goal is to drink a gallon plus 40 more oz. which is 2 Sam's Choice bottles of water. Ok enough rambling from me...hope you all have a great Friday!

Oh! and by the way Tina-hope you day goes by quick and the dress fitting goes well. You'll find those shoes!! You are doing AWESOME! Strapless Dress..here you come!!

!
WHY so much water? I have always been told to drink 1/2 you body weight in water. Unless you weigh 308 lbs that is way too much water!

Question, do you count other liquids such as Ice Tea, green tea as water since it is mostly water?

Anyone know the scoop on this? Thanks, Phyllis

If it has no sugar and no caffeine you can count it from what I learned before AND from WW. I drink alot of cold, green tea with splenda and alot of bottled water.
