OK I was talking to Donna the other night so she knows the entire story but my youngest brother (24 yoa) has met up with this woman, girl, female what ever you want to call her. He has known her about 5+ years but they have been dating for about 2 months. My brother lives in this rental house and really can't afford the rent plus all the bills he has, so he let her move in. The kicker about her is she has 2 kids 6 & 4 I believe their ages are. Well I have only met her briefly like 2 seonds at my mothers house and well I have been telling my mom over and over, have a postive attitude towards her, she maybe what Jack needs to calm him down. He is a big partier. So the girl, Shannon and her two kids moved in about a month ago. My brother is a child himself and has no experience with kids. She has two kids by 2 separate men, no biggie, so do I. If you ask her what kind of work she does she will tell you she is a bartender. She has no car so she is always driving my brothers SUV. He just isnt' ready to be a daddy but I can't stop what he has already done. So fast forward this girl is very controlling and outspoken everyone says. Treats my brother like one of her kids, demanding he does stuff. Well fast forward last week, I think about Wednesday, my brother invites me and the kids over and my mom over for dinner around 7pm so we can meet Shannon. My mom has already met her over the 4th but we really haven't. Before heading over to my brothers, my mom gets a phone call out of the blue from my oldest brother and he leaks some info about Shannon to her, basically Shannon is NOT a bartendar, she is a stripper!
so we all go over there on Wednesday and when we arrive, she isnt' there. My brother Jack and her two boys are. We ask where Shannon is and he says she had to run a friend home righ quick but will be home soon. Well an hour goes by and still no Shannon, she calls Jacks cell phone and says it will be a few hours before she gets home. She has things to do. OK......... so he is mad and decides to go ahead and start the burgers on the grill. Her boys are running around wild and wont' listen to anyone. My mom goes in the kitchen and fixes the burgers for 7 people, well there is only a small 2lb pack of meat to make burgers for 7 people, there are not enough buns so it is obvious by this point, she had not planned for us to come due to what there was there to eat. So my mom uses what she has and we eat........by the time we left, Shannon never did show up. Basically she left my brother with her kids and took off to a friends house. A few times my brother would leave the room and you could hear him on the phone fighting with her.
We never found out where she was or what the deal is but we do know this......she lives there with my brother, strips, has taken control over his house and his car and he has to ask to use his own vehicle. She leaves him with the kids alot and absolutely does not help pay the bills. My mom went over there over July 4th while we were at the beach for a cook out. When she arrived, Shannon never even introduced my mom to her mom and basically wasn't not even talked to by Shannon. My mom said she would start a conversation with Shannon and she would rudely only say what she had to then walk out of the room.
Its a bunch of *stuff* like that that is making everyone not care for Shannon too much. We still dont' know what happen the other night when we went over ther for dinner.
So guess who I am having over today for some pool fun and a cookout!? Yep, I am having them over to my house and please say a prayer that I can keep my big mouth shut.
..........I have the tendency to speak my mind so please lets just hope this is a cival get together!
My thing is that I always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt but this is NOT starting off too good!

Make her be accountable and call her on lies. You know, Shannon, we missed you on Wednesday, something really important must have come up! - cause I KNOW you wouldn't have just bailed on us!
