Default Newbie Needing Weight Loss Buddy!

I'm new here! I'm 22 in August, and just got married a year ago. I look back on my wedding photo's and am ashaimed of my weight and how horrid I've gotten. I'm a deffinate weight loss struggler. I have always had difficulty with my weight, but when I went on Birth Control, I gained 30 some pounds and have had a harder and harder time loosing weight as I've gotten older. I need someone who's pushy, yet supportive, and PATIENT! lol I'm not whiney, but I deffinately b**** a lot! I will also push you hard, but only so far as I know you can handle it, and I won't let anyone lose weight in an unhealthy way either! Thats my disclaimer. If any one of you all have a strong enough constitution to put up with me, I'd love to open up contact and go this with someone instead of alone. Those of you with tons of info and experience doing this, and those just as new to it as me are all welcome! If you're experienced in all this then you can be my Yoda, if not, then we'll learn together as we go! I'm supportive, and determined! (okay I really have no reason to use this little guy, but he's just so fun!)

Hi i know what you are saying i am new to this myself. I am 34 and almost 300 lbs i gained alot of weight when i had my kids . But i have also struggled all my life with it . I it 312 when i was preg with my daughter and it has been a constant battle . An up hill battle. I am glad that i found this sight today. It is hard to do it alone . I also know the b**** personality i have it myself. I had to develop it when i got really big and it just seem to stay with me . Maybe we can work somthing out .

That would be great! I'd love to work something out with you. And don't worry about the b*****y attitude. You're in good company, and honestly it will keep me goin'. I'm not really sure how to start, any ideas? Maybe it would be easiest if we exchange email or IM and have a regular "meet" time. Whatever works for you. How many children do you have and how old are they? My husband and I want children one day! Right now we both feel too immature.

hey guys!! room for one more? i'm 22 looking to lose about 80 lbs for now. so far i'm down 7!! (had to throw him in haha). i have been limiting what i eat at night, but its hard cause i work 3-11. basically i have just been eating a lot healthier then i use to. counting calories and staying away from fatty and fast foods are a big plus. anyone have any exercise tips u want to share?

hey yeah! there is always room for more! I bet we'll ahve the best group on the site! Okay so again here is my email: [email protected] if ya'll are in then email me and I will start a group mail. We'll exchange addresses, share tips, share encouragement, etc.

My tip for today is: drink a gallon of water a day! Work up to it if you have to; but ice cold water burns calories by making your body work harder to warm it up. It also flushes out fat cells, clears up your skin, gives you a healthy glow, and (big plus) it deffinately makes you not in the mood for snacking! lol
