Hey ladies:

I am in th same boat, almost 40, 2 boys 16 and 11 years old, and am at my heaviest weight ever . . . 194 lbs. I want to get to at least 140, 130 would be beautiful. Anyway, I'm working really hard on portion control right now and I feel I've lost a little weight around the bra-overhang area in my back and waist in the last two weeks since I've began a diligent effort. I'm a little afraid to jump on that scale just yet. I need to control binge snacking and I need to exercise more. I love this website for all the support you get. Thanks girls and good luck to all of you!

Default Welcome

DJMommy and Ellaswish. So glad to have you two in our group. As moms of several children, we all have one thing in common, well two things.....the second is our WLB (Weight Loss Battle). Which we will win

Are you two on any special diet plan? I myself try to follow the NSFD (No See Food Diet), where I just try not to eat too much

Anyway ladies. I just arrived at work not too long ago. I am about to have some nice hot...

Have a great morning everyone !!!

Lynda,
You are soooo right. My five children keep me going and if working full-time isn't enough, I am also attending college (trying to get my bachelor's degree in psychology) through distance education. I am taking 12 hours so I am considered a full-time student. So with all that I still wonder why I am always fighting the battle of the bulge

I guess if I didn't sneak and eat chocolate it would help, along with eating regular meals. My sister thinks that I am not consuming enough food. I wonder if this means I could have a little more..... and especially---

Yeah...right. Have a nice day everyone. BTW, where is everyone???

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well. I am getting in the water but cannot seem to stop craving sweets. Anyone have any ideas. I am going away this weekend and I know one of those days will be tough. Lots of yummy desserts. Maybe I will have to leave before that time. Anyway, I had a nice breakfast today and that seem to feel me up good. I got it off this site. It was Dannon no fat low carb yogurt, oatmeal and cut up apples. I nuked it for a little, mixed and ate it. Simple and quick. Someone said to use plain with splenda. This yogurt has it all in one. Peaches would be yummy too. Good luck ladies. We can do this.

Hello Everyone! momof5 - I can really sympathize with you, I am also finishing my degree, working way over full-time and have young children. I am really finding it difficult to get motivated to walk on the treadmill when I get home after 9:00 after the kids activities.
This is my first post - I really am glad I was directed to this site from another forum complety off this topic!

ElizabethM and Thinin06. How are you ladies doing? Are you following any particular diet plan.

Our little group has been kind of quiet for the last few days. I know everyone is preparing for Thanksgiving but does anyone had any diet strategies they are planning on using????
