New and Ready to lose!
Hello there. I have visited this site for a few years now but for some reason just now joined the forum. I need encouragement and advice and this seems to be a great place to get both!
I am 5'7" and weigh 152.6lbs. (I'm down from 158.8 earlier in the year...hurray!) My goal weight is 130.
I am currently eating around 1500 calories or less a day - consisting of mostly whole grain cereal, sandwiches with whole grain bread, low cal mayo, turkey, tuna, etc, grapes, oranges, 4 bottles of water a day, 1 serving of baked chips or pretzels, carrots with low cal dip, etc, etc.
I use a DVD of a Cario/Pilates routine that I really enjoy and it gets my heart rate up. That takes 35 minutes and I do it at least 4 times a week. I walk 1 mile just about everyday.
In one month I have lost around 5 pounds and 1 inch from all of my measurements. I would have thought that I'd see faster results from my efforts. I am getting discouraged and I would like to know what I can do that will help me lose weight and inches faster, in a healthy way. My goal was to lose all my weight by the end of May...
