  • Wow TruLuvin4us,

You are doing fantastic....and so fast too, what are you doing....
  • I'm 313lbs, 5'6", wear size 28 pants, 2X-3X shirts.
  • I am 5ft4, 130. i weight train a good bit while at school, and have uber muscular thighs. I look lighter then I am. But yeah, four, doesn't matter if I'm 115 or 130, always a four in levis and old navy, as long as they aren't low rise. I can not ever get LEIs on, and low rise jeans just don't work for my build. My top ranges dependign how it is cut, i'm a 34DD and have a pretty small waist, I have some smalls, and some larges. When I was at my heaviest at about 14 or 15, I weighed 180, wore an 11-15, and a medium-extra large shirt. I was a 38DD.
  • I'm 5ft 2in and 200lb...I wear 16/18 top and bottom usually, but I have huge boobs so sometimes I have to go larger with the top. I have no waist since having my son, so my pants are always really tight around my waistline, fit my butt fine, and then are too big for my thighs and lower legs...I always look like I'm wearing pants that are too big because I wear my shirt down to about the crotch line and people can't see how my belly is straining to get free--LOL. All my weight is definitely in the middle of my body (butt, tummy, and especially boobs), which is killing my back... At my smallest in high school I was around 110 lbs (smallest was 105, biggest was 114 on any given day--water weight I guess) and wore a 3-5 on bottom and 5-7 on top depending on the cut/make...one time I even had a size 2 pair of jeans! Oh, how I miss those days...
  • Christy, until you get down to the size you want, just a suggestion for your comfort. You might look into trying a maternity belt extender. That way you can extend the waistline of your pants while getting them to better fit your butt and legs. I've been discovering a similar problem with pregnancy. To get pants that fit my expanding waist comfortably, sometimes the legs are baggy and I don't want that.
  • Hello. I'm new today. I was here about a year and a half ago and I've not made much progress since then. I'm 5'7" and weigh 237. I wear stretchy 14/16 pants, size 20 non-stretch pants, size 20 dresses and tops. I must be buying cheaper clothes because I can't wear the sizes others in my weight and height range are wearing. I have belly fat that I hate. I am going to lose this weight this time. I am 67 years old and having real pain from my hips to my knees so my exercise is in short spells but I am determined to keep moving. If there's someone out there in about the same fix as me, I would love a buddy. Maybe we can learn and shrink together. By the way, I'm glad to be here and my name is Nancy. I live in northeastern North Carolina.
  • I am 5'3" and 200 in a size 20/18 bottom and 16/18 top (really depending on where i buy clothes from) I carry my weight very well, no one would ever guess I wear a size 20. I am big chested (42DD). At my lowest (145) - well actually when I was most comfortable with myself and didn't think I was "fat" - I was a 12/14. I have always been "larger". I would love to be 145 again... if of course that is what is in store for me - **** I would like to be 160 at this point.

    Good luck girls!

PS - I am an hourglass (which is what allows me to "hide" some weight)
  • Great post!
@ 200 I wore size 14-16 Jeans and XL Shirts. I have a big chest not so big butt and slightly defined waist line...

At my lowest that I can remeber I was 150 size 9-10 Jeans and Md-Lrg Shirts

Maybe I can be back to that in a few months!
  • I am 5'7 and weigh around 260. I wear a tight size 20. So, probably more of a size 22. As for shirts, probably around a size xxL or something. I haven't bought any new clothes in a while.

At my smallest, I was size 14, around 185 and wore and XL top.

I have an hourglass type build. I have large breasts, smaller waist, and then large hips/butt. I had always gained weight evenly on my body, until I gained the last 30lbs. It seems to be more concentrated around my lower belly area/hips.

  • I'm 5'7", 196 and a size 14(Medium) in pants, and XXL (I like my tops to be a bit loose) or size 16w in tops. Most of my weight is in my bust and stomach.
  • Wow, theres so much size varying. im 5'9 155, and i wear any where from 9-12. im really bottom heavy i would say. big hips, big butt.
  • Everybody's body is so different. Now I don't feel so bad for being a weird shape.

I am 5'0". I carry most of my excess weight in my chest and stomach. I have a very large bust, a bulgy belly, and really nasty back fat. I have narrow hips and a small butt. I have to buy my pants to fit my waist, and then they are a whole size too big in the hips. Baggy butt is a constant problem. At my highest, about 175, I wore an XL (16-18) top, and size 16 bottom. At my lowest, in 1992, I weighed 98 pounds and wore a size 3/4. I was 156 yesterday morning, and I am wearing large tops and 14 bottoms. I have a pair of size 12 jeans I can get on and zip and button, but they are really too tight. The funny thing is, 21 years ago when I graduated from high school, I weighed 140 pounds and wore a size 13/14. So I think the measurements for sizes have changed over the years. My goal is to get my BMI down to the healthy range, which will be about 125 pounds for me.
