Hi. I'm starting the Cruise diet on Monday (as recommended) and I've finally decided that I'm not going to lose the weight on my own. I'm a student and I work, and I know I'm going to need support. Now is never the best time to diet, but I now have around 100 pounds to lose, and it is past time. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks.
S.

Hi S!! Welcome. I am also new. And good luck. What is the cruise diet? I don't think I have ever heard of it.
Have a great night. Hope to see you on the boards.
New also and in need of help
Hello. I am also new as of this week. I am having a hard time figuring out how to work the site. I have enjoyed reading alot of the information everyone is submitting. If anyone can help me with the Journals I would appreciate it. Not sure how to do it. Not even sure I am doing this right. I need alot of help i guess.

Hi again. Sorry I didn't post again before now.
The Cruise diet is basically the idea that you "accept" your weight, and stop emotional eating. The book also gives you a breakdown of what to eat (basic dinner plate, top half vegetables, bottom half split into 2-protein and carbs, with a teaspoon of fat) and exercises each morning. The exercises aren't supposed to take more than "8 minutes," the idea being to start busy people exercising, and working up energy to do more. Good in theory, but I don't know yet.
