New here! & Question about gaining from exercising.

  • Hi everyone! I like to read everyone's posts so I decided to introduce myself. I'm Jess & I've started being healthy & losing weight since January 1st. I started at 140 pounds & Now I'm 133. I weigh in every Saturday. I eat a healthy 1500 cals/day & I try to exercise.

    I exercised every day for the first 3 weeks & then I stopped losing. So I didn't exercise for a week & lost again. I'm finding it hard to exercise because whenever I do I gain. & I know it must be just muscle, but I really want to keep to my goals. I'm going to try just using the treadmill & see if that goes well & I don't gain. Any advice?
  • I wouldn't worry about the numbs on the scale so much, the more muscle you have the more you burn fast when yer body is at rest AND excersizing...the scale will move just be patient....
