Default Holy Crap...i Think The Pilaties Tape Broke Me!!!!

Ok....so my wife and I did that Pilatie's DVD the other day....and I came to a few realizations....

#1 pilaties is for skinny people! - Trying to bend in the ways that they wanted me to was almost impossible!! I have a hard enough time seeing my toes....THEY want me to sit up, put my leg in the air and REACH and touch them?!?! ARE THEY F'ING NUTS!!!! LOL They had me doing this excersize that had me rolling around in a ball....I think I almost sufficated myself! My wife and I (after really laughing to ourselves and at the things they were trying to make us do) decided to stick to the walk away the pounds series!!!!

#2 some of the excersizes, as shown on the DVD, was more like watching soft core porn!! LOL....I have to honestly say, after my wife caught me just STARING at the TV that I don't know if I've EVER seen a woman bend in the way that these women in the DVD bent themselves!! I had already come to the conclusion that I wan't going to be able to do any of these excersizes....but I just couldn't turn the TV off.....and there were even points that I felt "wierd" about watching this with my wife....I actually think this was better than the "movies" that my buddies had on during my bachelor party! LOL

My wife actually said to me (jokingly of course...as we really were just laughing at the tv at this point!) that I am not allowed to watch this DVD alone! Lol

#3 I am REALLY sore today! I didn't even do half the excersizes - but my abdomen and back really were worked.....if I was a little thinner and more flexible, this tape would really do well for me...but seriously....over half of the exersizes on the DVD were unrealistic for me to do at this time! But what I could do....WORKED! (and I think we used it as foreplay LOL)

OK....Moral of the story....I got a lot out of the DVD (mostly for it's entertainment) and I think I will probably be able to use it more in like a few months when I become a little more flexible and a little less "bulky"!

I guess it's on to the "PG" rated walk away the pounds!!!! he he he

Nugs, that is too funny...okay so I am getting from your post that I really dont want to try the Pilates until I am a lot smaller, huh? I have never been flexible, even when thin, so maybe I will just stick to the WATP dvds permanently...

That is great that you guys are doing those together, keep up the good work and keep posting....

If you call having eating my way through the weekend staying on the program - then yes I stayed on the program!! LOL

Actually, in all fairness....I was out sick on Thursday and friday with the flu....I couldn't keep anything down for those days....so by Sat....I found my appitite back (in full force!) and I didn't worry too much about what I ate because I DIDN'T eat a thing over Thurs and Fri.....it wasn't that bad overall....I ate MUCH healthier than I did the past weekend, but I did break for a nicely portioned bowl of ice cream (helped with my sore throat!!) and I lived on TONS of yogurt (it really was all I ate on Sat and Sun.....but I ate A LOT of it!)

So all went well overall I think....but other than the Pilatie's fiasco....there was no exersize to be had (since wed)....so we will work on that in the days to come!
