With your PCOS diagnosis, did you also happen to get an insulin resistance diagnosis? They often go hand-in-hand. If you are insulin resistant, besides just cutting back on calories, you really need to cut back on carbs. Perhaps you already do, but I wanted to mention it, just in case. As for exercise, it will help you to become fit, but diet is what is most important when it comes to weight loss, so you don't have to do any strenuous exercise. I simply walk.
