Hi guys. Im Gillian and im 37 years old. I joined Slimming World in March 2013 and 2 date ive lost 2 Stone 5 1/2lbs but recently my weightloss has stalled. Cos of the bad weather i cannot go out on my bike, go walking or swimming my eating has got out of control. Im looking 2 lose another 2 Stone as i need 2 lose the weight as i need 2 have surgery. Im looking 2 make new friends and get loads of support 2 get me back up on my feet again with my weightloss

Thank u so much Marymar. At the moment im finding it difficult as on the friday b4 christmas i found out that my dad who i have not spoken 2 in 4 years has prostate Cancer and im very worried. He is now receiving Radiotherapy and hormone tablets. When i worry about things i eat 2 much. Once the weather picks up i will get out cycling walking and swimming. xo

Hi Gillian! I am so sorry to hear about your Dad but try to think positive! Prostate cancer is very treatable. My Dad was diagnosed back in the 1980's and in a couple of months, he is going to be 93! Try to stay focused on your health as well. Although you can't get outside like you want during these winter months, there are so many free exercise videos on youtube which you can do right in your home, everything from zumba to indoor walking to bellydancing! I wish you and your Dad the best! Good luck!
