Smile Newbie

Hello everyone my name is Kim and I'm hoping that my participation here will help me to stay motivated and finally get the weight off for good!. Currently on a modified South Beach diet, no results yet I tried it about 6 years ago and the weight melted off! I don't know what the problem is I was following it to the letter the first week and gained. I nearly got discouraged but I intend to press on even if it means trying a different plan.

Hi and Welcome!! I've only been a member for about a week and I have already found so much support here. I myself have never used a formal diet plan : / My will power is not great, lol. I'm sure more knowledgeable members can chime in. It's early days for both of us on our weight loss journey. We can do it

One thing I hear is that the body can be quite tricky. What may have worked for you like a miracle five years ago will be drastically different this round. Are you adding exercise? Or is it a change of eating habits, first? Perhaps you might want to modify it a bit more to fit your current suiting and weight?

Diets take a lot of willpower - so I congratulate you on having the power to do such a change!
