My name is Tanya, I have been on a weight loss journey for my whole life pretty much. I am 36 yrs old married with two children. I started several years ago at about 300 lbs. Lost 55, had some rough things go on in life and gained about 20 back then started again I am currently at 237 and have been stuck here for 7 weeks. I am religiously eating a 1300-1400 cal diet ( I measure and weigh all my food.) doing 2 cardio kickboxing classes (1hr long) 2 step classes and one either dance or walking once a week plus 1 strength class a week all 1 hr. I have been working with a dietician for several months now who said eat between 1300-1500 kcals a day. but the weight has stalled and I don't know what to do, I tried increasing my food intake to 1500-1600 and I stayed flat. So I am gong to change up my exercise and try some jogging. That is my nutrition life in a nutshell . Thoughts? Thanks
welcome ! sorry to hear about your plateau ..stalls are never easy to deal with ! just stick to it and eventially the scale will start moving again ! have you tried cutting back on your calories a bit, perhaps your body has adjusted to 1300-1400 calories a day. maybe go down to 1200 for a week or two and see if that helps?
