Talking Newbie!!

My name is Andrinna, I will be 24 years old next week. Looking forward to talking with people from this site! I'd like to learn what people use as motivation, since I am having the toughest time keeping motivated!

Hi and welcome. I stopped using the term "motivation" (it doesn't always last) use "commitment" instead. It is a choice we make to stick with it whether or ot we feel like it. But it does help to focus on the new things you can do and wear that you could not before... or what we call "NSVs" - Non Scale Victories.

Hmm...first and I think I use commitment too or lifestyle change. I know I DO NOT want to be where most of the females in my family are by their mid 40s...which is generally obese to morbidly obese and physically unable to do anything. Exercise for me has ALWAYS (even when I was nearly 200 pounds) something I did daily, but honestly I had to dial it up a notch and push through a lot of issues (myofascial pain).

But anyway I also find checking in VERY helpful. The check in I'm in is http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weig...e-welcome.html and I love it!
