I can't recommend a "diet" because for me personally I don't believe in them. But I've found that a good, healthful eating plan of mostly (but certainly not limited to) fresh fruits and veggies -- plus a regular exercise schedule -- is highly effective.
I have watched a lot of YouTube videos and read books by Michael Pollan and think he gives a lot of useful information.
And yes, personally, I feel it is good to have the support of a good doctor. My doctor has been a super encourager and when I was thinking of taking any supplements, I have always taken them to her for her approval.
