Hi everyone,
My name is Susan and I am a huge carb junkie! I have had weight problems forever. I love to bake and being Italian, love to eat. I have never really been thin. I call myself "big boned". I have tried many diets and usually do well with structured diets, but my willpower stinks so I usually gain my weight back. I dream of having the "perfect" body. I know that will never happen, but I do want to feel healthy. I have had four cervical surgeries which limit my exercise options and recently have had a lower back injury with two slipped discs. I know for a fact this is due in part to my weight.
I have been reading posts on this site for about two months now and have to say I am extremely impressed with the community support here. Sooooo.....I had my appointment with the Ideal Protein center today and am beginning the program on Tuesday 9/4. Why wait? Plans made a long time ago for Labor Day weekend. I want to be prepared mentally and not set myself up for failure.
So here we go again hopefully for the last time!
