Default one week down

Hello!

About a week ago I decided I've had enough of not living life, so I bought a tape measure, scale, and signed up for a website that's been very helpful in tracking what I eat. I'm 22 year old, male, and looking to lose around 70-80lbs. It's heavier than the recommended weight for someone of my height and age, though I feel I would be comfortable within that range. It would be a massive improvement regardless!

I know the site is geared mainly towards women, but I think I spotted a men's corner. Either way, I'm just looking for like minded people to make this endeavor a successful one!

Welcome and good luck! It stinks that taking off this stink'n weight doesn't happen super fast, but if we all encourage each other, hopefully we'll make it through!

Welcome aboard Kelby!

I also have quite a bit to lose and though it may be slow, coming off i know that its rewarding.

I have spent too much time with research, and I have known for years that I should be doing what I am doing now, but when i found the right motivation, then everything snapped into place.

Make sure that your motivation is something that is sustainable and long term,
short term goals are wonderful, though once these occur, would you quit when you got there?

Goals such as: Vacationing, Going out more, Being a Healthier, Happier You are great goals to have in queue.

Happy Travels !!

Welcome! There is a great men's corner, but please don't just hang out there. Lots of great places here.
