Hi There,

I'm a mom in my 20's and I've delt with weight problems since childhood. I was a chubby kid then slimmed down in my teens, slowly added weight as a young adult and gained a lot when I was pregnant. I was about 220 when I had my daughter, then slimmed down to about 115 in the following years through healthy diet and working out. I've slowly let the pounds creep up again to about 133, and I'd like to get to a goal of 120 and maintain it. (I'm 5'6)I feel like I've been in denial about gaining weight back and if I let it continue I will be right back up in the 150s where I was before pregnancy. I love weight lifting but not so fond of cardio, though I know I need to work on it. I generally have a healthy diet but I think some emotional eating just means my quantities are too large and I sometimes eat for the wrong reasons.

I'd really like to have support of others and a place to log on and chat to work out stress rather than eat for stress relief. I'm looking forward to getting to know some 'weight loss' buddies and just having a place to talk about the journey of weight loss.
