Default Need motivation

Day one.....again. I've tried to diet all of my adult life and most during most of my youth. I don't know what to do to make this time different? I'm over 200 pounds now and always tired. Any advice on how to get motivated?

I feel the same way! I have started so many diets at different points in my life, and I am never able to keep it up. Right now I am doing the 17 day diet... And it's too early to tell but I have lost 6 lbs in 1 week, and I must say that the fast initial loss is very motivating. I read the book, and I think it might just be the right diet for me! More of a lifestyle change than a diet. You should check it out!

lol we must be twins. i seem to have the happy knack of sitting here reading posts and saying i will start tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, and it all goes out the window. Come back and I will tell you what I have done on the day. Can't promise I will be here everyday, I am not very consistent when it comes to logging in here. But the first thing I will change and that is to TRACK.Off to dig out that old WW tracking book.

I'm the same- kept saying I will start tomorrow everyday.
I agree that tracking what you are eating really helps- there are some good phone aps to help with that too.
