Default Hey, hi, hello

Oh boy here we go with the post that I always hate doing, intros. So I'm going to start from the beginning and hope it makes since.
I've always been a little overweight nothing to bad. Nothing to raise concern with my DR since I always had few extra pounds on me. But I wanted to lose those few pounds so I would try but I had the lack of support and people who didn't want me to lose the weight. So as a teenager it was hard to lose weight and keep it off (the lowest I manage was 125ibs which is healthy weight for someone my size but it didn't last long, as a teen I tend to go between 145-150). Fast forward to 18 and I ditch where I was living and move a little over 1300 miles away. I some how manage to get myself into a horrible relationship that lasted 7 years and so many months. And when I'm stressed or depressed I binge horribly. That relationship was 7 years of deep depression and stress, my only friend during that time was food pretty much. I quickly packed on 50ibs. A little over a year and half ago I had enough of the horrid relationship and ran, over 1300 miles back home to my family. Strangely enough I lost 5ibs without trying when I first left. I just now need to lose rest of the 45ibs and the extra I always had before. I got rid of the major issue to my weight gain and losing it (the ex!) I just knew that I needed to fix the other problem, lack of support. I started taking walks here and there while trying to figure out how to find support when I had none. Than it dawned on me the other day that there most be a message board for people like me who are trying to lose weight while trying to live their day to day life. And that's how I ended up here. So hi nice to meet you all.

Hi!

I just joined today too (this morning) and I already got such incredible feedback from other members. In fact, I was totally out of it today (not really feeling like I was up to doing anything) but some of the responses to my posts were sooooo positive that I actually got up off my and did a workout DVD went for two long walks!

I currently live across the country from my family, and my husband works CRAZY hours so, though he tries to give me as much support as he can, mostly I'm on my own. We will only be living here a year, and so I don't really have an oportunity to socialize... So really, I rely heavily on the support I get here.

I would be really happy to support you in any way I can, and as I had experienced so far, so would most of the people using this site!
