Red face Hi! Help!

Hi,

My names Naomi, I am 23 nearly 24. I'm looking for a bit of help and support from others in losing weight and hoping I can give my support to others aswell

I currently weigh 11st 5lbs and I am 5ft4, if I follow all the BMI and stuff I am overweight etc etc

I'm looking to go on holiday in September and really want to shift this weight so I look better and feel better about myself because otherwise I find I have hardly any photos because I don't like how I look, it's not just that but I want it to be a change for life and not just for the holiday. I hate being the weight I am and being unfit.

For me I need help in kickstarting things, at the moment I start, quit, start, quit....etc you know how it is! Only problem I have is when it comes to food I'm quite fussy so it's not really leaving me much option when it comes to food

choosing the right food is the most important part of losing weight for good can you tell in which way you are fussy about it? then we can maybe start recommending something.

Naomi, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 20-somethings and the UK Chicks

When I say fussy I mean like I don't like mushrooms, peppers, celery, green beans etc etc I feel it's like I only like basic food, cucumber, lettuce, peas, carrots.

I want to be able to have a variety of healthy foods to eat and not get bored of eating it but if I don't like a lot of stuff then it's not really giving me a 'variety' of food to eat.

I kind of feel more determined to lose weight now after my bf says he is quite optimistic on if I will lose weight and doesn't think I'll do it.
