Default Hello from The Sunshine State

Greeting from Orlando, Fl.!!!! I once again humble myself after looking at picture of myself and getting on the scales this morning and seeing that my fat is layed like a whale!! Yes I am comical but seriously I am at the fattest I have ever been. I am 10lbs bigger than I was 01/01/2011!!!

I always start a diet and get derailed from everything and start overeating again...I am a comfort eater...I eat when I am sad happy, nervous and stressed oh lets not forget bored...

So as I ponder upon myself, when is enough enough and I actually do this I ask myself... I know what needs to be done to loose the weight yet I have not been able to stay true to myself and stay on a diet. That is why I chose the name CANi2012... YESiCAN!!!

I will look for a challenge to join and a support group but I also NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!! Looking forward to loosing weight with all of you in 2012.... Whenever you see "MY FAT IS LAYED LIKE"....... it is me....

Welcome to the forum!
Do you know what food plan you are going to follow? There is a ton of information about many different food plans on this site. Pick a plan that fits in your lifestyle and you can follow long term. I chose calorie counting because it is free and flexible. It allows me to eat almost anything I wanted as long as it fits within my calorie range for the day and there are ton of free apps out there to help you track your food.
Give up the sugary drinks and drink lots and lots of water.
Incorporate some exercise into your weekly routine. You do not have to join an expensive gym try to walk more, use the stairs more, download videos off of YouTube or Hulu.com to work out to. There are a lot of things you can to do with spending a ton of money.
Lastly, if you have a bad meal, a bad day, heck, a bad food week. Do NOT let this be a reason to throw in the towel. Get back on track at the next meal. You can do this!!!
Best of luck to you!
