Oh for the love of peanut butter how did I get here?
I could make excuses for why I look the way I do, but I would only be furthing my deniel of who is in charge here...ME! I have to lose about 80lbs. That's a lot of butter, if you think of it in one pound blocks! I am doing Atkins, low carb. I have tried W.W. and it does not work for me. Also, I have been having heart palpitations when eating carbs...i.e. stuffing and potatoes in the same meal.

Welcome! Nice thread title you have there. Have you tried switching to wholegrains for when you do eat grains? I have a tendency towards palpitations as well, and wholegrains really help. I expect it all boils down to stabilising blood sugar, which different people accomplish in different ways.
