Smile New to this!

I'm Natalie. I weigh 310 lbs. I'm 21. I hope to get down to under 200 in a year.
I've been fat my whole life. Both sides of my family are fat. I'm doing this with their full support. I hope that in doing this it will encourage my little sister to get healthier.

Hi Natalie! Welcome

It's great that you're looking to inspire your sister with your own journey for weight loss. I'm not sure of her age, but if possible some great ways to get her involved is to have her cook with you and go for walks/bike/etc. Don't make it so much about dieting because that can sometimes turn into sounding a little preachy. Instead, focus on the sisterly bonding.

In any case, I hope you like it here - everyone's wicked friendly!

Welcome! You've come to the right place for support. I don't know whether you have a plan in mind or need some ideas, but look around. Little changed make a big difference

Welcome! Everyone here is very supportive, and I really hope you find what you're looking for here!

Have you considered yet what sort of plan you'd like to follow? There are many, and none of them work for everyone. It may take some experimenting to find something that works for you, be it simple low cal, low carb, a specific 'brand name' diet, etc.

My whole family is rather large, too. I am hoping they will find some encouragement in my body changes, too, sooner or later. I hope your little sister does, too. If not...well, everone comes to it in their own time.

Again, welcome, and best of luck to you!
