I'm a 20 something from the US.
Weight loss...hm.
Well, I've had my ups and downs in the past. I really got in to running on an elliptical at the end of last year. However, at the beginning of this year, I fell and broke my ankle. I was put on bed rest for swelling problems.
Unfortunately, when you can't move, you can eat... and boy did I eat.
So now, I've achieved a weight at which I'm very uncomfortable with myself. I'm usually pretty good at exercising, but I no longer have anyone to exercise with.
I am hoping that the use of this forum (and maybe a blog) will help me to stay motivated to lose the weight.
I have been calorie counting for a few weeks (with some minor success...) but I think it is time to step it up a notch. I really like exercising (thankfully

) and I have acquired Turbo Jam. I hope to be able to use this, and eating right to combat the lb's.
It is nice to see a support system on here. I hope that this is what I need to push me to make myself feel better and improve my health.
At this point, I'm at a sad 190lb's at just 5'6". My recommendation to everyone is to try not to break any limbs! Hehe.
All kidding aside, I've always been a bit on the curvy side, so even getting back to 150lb's will be awesome, but my final target weight is about 130-135.
