Talking Armed, but need help putting my finger on the trigger.

Hello! I'm a new, old member. lol

Many, many years ago I was a member, but cannot, for the life of me, remember what my username was. Oh well. No biggie.
I was just a lurker, and enjoyed reading the success stories most.

You might notice I give a lot of advice, and it may seem weird coming from someone overweight. I actually am armed will a LOT of knowledge and information - I've had an obsession with cooking, diet, fitness, whole foods, and health in general, since I was a kid.
I have an unquenchable thirst for studies and books on the subjects, and never seem to tire of reading them.

So why am I here?
Motivation!

Despite all the knowledge, tools(I have a treadmill, bodybugg, weights, scales, spin bike, balance board, big backyard, calipers, and tons of available time and outdoor space), and ability to stay healthy and fit, I lose motivation quickly.

What motivates me best is seeing other people succeed, and HELPING other people succeed. I know it sounds strange, but helping other people gain the knowledge really helps motivate me to USE the knowledge I have.

My goal weight is 139lbs.
Before I had my 2nd child(nearly 6 years ago), I was a very fit and healthy 134 lbs. I was forced into bed rest during the second half of my pregnancy, due to bleeding, and my weight ballooned immediately.
I kept the weight on after the pregnancy because I love cooking so much, and despite knowing appropriate portion sizes, I ignore them.

I do work out quite a bit(mostly running or spinning at home), but would also like to motivate myself into doing more pilates and non-cardio - Also, using my weights more.

I felt like I should make an introduction, so people understand my own motivations for being here. I know it may seem weird, how I go about things.
Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome back =)

Being overweight, or even obese does not mean that we don't have the knowledge. In fact, collectively the members of 3FC have vast amounts of information. We've read studies, articles, books...not to mention the invaluable personal experience with losing weight and becoming healthier.

So share! Give advice! Give support! And be ready to receive it all back tenfold! It's what we all do best

I'm here for many reasons. I don't even know if I'm able to properly articulate them all, but one thing is for certain... being a member at 3FC helps me succeed. That's all I need to know in order to stick around.

Hope to see you around the boards!
